It was good but not exceptional. To be frank, I've not heard anyone take Aretha's classics higher her level. She stamps her foot so deep into the soul and leaves a permanent mark. That comes from her Gospel roots and the fact that she's a genius with a once in a lifetime instrument. You can't fake Soul.
