I have always loved people that sit on the sidelines or hide behind their PC's and critique those that are out there actually doing something. Obviously we can learn so much from individuals such as this. Like how to be a class act, true showmanship, and lets not forget sportsmanship. Good to know the western stock horse is more intelligent than to offer to run off and athletic enough not to fall over on any type ground, thanks for pointing that out jazzy96ful!! You are one classy individual!
How can this be called (english) hunt seat, this flapping rein, no contact, not working on the bit style would be laughed out of an english hunter show class or any other english ridden show class. if you rode a hunter like this on an actual hunting field it would either run off with you or fall over on rough ground. This is western pleasure with a slightly longer stride and an english saddle and clothing
