Very nice. We did a stage 1 to our 2010 RK and love it. More sound and power. We plan on going to stage 2 when there are more funds for the bike cause and will post a video. We posted video of stage 1 on here already. Also my husband is 5.11 and has no problem with the stock seat.
your right most true dual didnt come on the harleys for a while, my dads 07 doesnt run true duals, but looks like it, runs a 2 to 1 to 2, the left pipe doesnt even look used, needs a true dual setup... harley did that for emission reasons... but after market is the best way to get true duals
Love the Bub sound, period. I have an '09 RKC with Stage 1, stock headers and Bub 7 slip-ons (1.75") I was thinking going with aftermarket 2-1-2, but Bub doesn't make a 2-1-2 header, only true duals in 1.75". I talked to Bub and they said you give up maybe 3 lb/ft tq down low. Your bike sure looks like it runs great with true duals; are they 1.75"? Even Bub and my local HD service guys are saying get a 2-1 or Bub's full TDX system (2") but if yours is 1.75" and runs and sounds that good...
@JCarabillo Check-out Fuel-Moto for their aftermarket 2-1-2 header pipe! That pipe is a performance upgrade and really sounds good with performance increases across the board! I know a few Indie shops that don't carry many exhaust items (there's too many to choose from) but they have 3-4 of these headers on hand. These also use your 2009-up heat shields, so the price is very reasonable! (I hope this isn't too late! LOL)
Great looking bike! I am trying to decide which model to get the RK or the Heritage Classic. I didn't notice your mirrors shaking on the video. People say the RK vibrates a lot more the HC...how about yours?
I am the same height as you, and about 240. From what I've seen the HC is a good deal lower (you sit 'in' the bike rather than 'on' it)
If you don't mind me askin', how tall are you? I'm lookin to buy the RK, but at 5'6" may have to make some mods to be able to touch the ground. Thanks.
6'1" I have the Sidekick seat and it seats me back a bit and couple inches lower. Position is way better than stock, at least for me. I just put my stocker on today and I was crunched. At your height you will want a lower seat like mine plus a lowering kit from Pingel which is about $150.

That's a nice ride, rbanas! You've got a really good sounding set-up!!
I was fortunate enough to get the 2009 FLHR with the 2-1-2 pipe (no cat. conv.).
Enjoy and keep the shiney side up!!

I'll probably rent both to decide.
Thanks for the video!

if that's a 2010 why does the exhaust come out the left side on the rear cylinder ??

True Duals. Thats how all of them are run. Each pipe independent of each other off each cylinder. Better sound, engine runs cooler.

@rbanas3 Your wrong. My true duals from V&H run the same as stock.
