I implemented the Maxwell equations on Scilab. Then I plotted the output with 3dplot functionand appropriate settings. Then I had all the steps saved in bmp format. Finally I used something like bmp2avi to create the video.
I had better videos but with too big a size to post on youtube. I guess nowadays, optical simulation has much evolved and my model would be considered as naÏve though still interesting for pedagogical purposes

what's the structure? You should include sketch of the structure or this pretty video is meaningless

in fact I was really thinking that the structure would be sufficiently described in the text.. what other information would you want to have ?

Nice to see some Optics simulations in Youtube. Hope the Optics community will grow stronger here :)
