I'm like 14, and I really couldn't get into this show that much to be honest. I just really like the catchy ass theme song! I did enjoy reading the books in 4th and 5th grade though. Man, I'm just barely in high school, and I remember all these show!! They were like the biggest part of childhood! It's soo damn disappointing to see all my those memories fade away. All this new nickelodeon crap sucks!

I never could get into wayside school because I loved the books so much, and they turned it into a completely new thing. Stephen used to have green hair (he wasn't a elf). Todd never "transferred", he was a original character. Joy, Kathy, Paul, Benjamin Nushmutt, Jason, Allison, and Calvin are gone, Rondi wasn't obese she was actually supposed to be one of the prettiest girls because of her lack of two front teeth, Deedee is supposed to look like a rat.

Honestly this show probably has the BEST theme of just about any cartoon. While it wasn't a great show, even I felt like it ended a bit too early.

Also Mericia has Pink hair outside the cartoon show. I think turning it purple was probably a good move.

Both the books and show were great. I wish they continued the series. I'm 15 right now(11 when Wayside premiered), and since Wayside ended Nick has been utter shit. Spongebob has been horrible since 2006. The only thing that they can make these days are sitcoms, and only good one was Drake and Josh.
