to jefferyb304 - Thanks for letting me know Wade Mainer passed away Sept 12, 2011 @ 104 years old. God Bless him. It is sad news, but all good things must end & he had a good, long run. So many other great talents have been lost to time, so how wonderful that the videos & recordings of Wade Mainer will survive him to be enjoyed by many others.

Wade Mainer just had his 104th birthday!. Check out the David Holt Interviews with him on youtube also - in those he was 97 yrs old & going strong - an amazing, talented & humble man!

Wade is 103, and married to his wife,Julia,91, they'll be married 73 years,  in November 2010.
