you can check the video of 季式八極拳, thats what i call baji. of course there;re some other styles but how i distinguish good or bad is easy: close contact fajing and his stepping. Not always wrestling apprently.
Well, first of all, we have left fajing out of this because otherwise I would've got beaten up :D And well uh, if you refer to big stepping or "sound" with the steps, then keep in mind that combat and form training are different. Also, if you look closely, there is also a little elbow using there, most of it is just wrestling applications from xiao jia.

There is striking before the takedowns, you can't see this that well in some places. We didn't really have a plan or coreography when we did this, just freestyling with some techniques. And this is a show, of course you show people takedowns :), and shuai is a big part of baji anyway. Baji fighting stance... i hope you are not talking about one of those things where you stand with the hands down near the waist:/? What line of baji do you study?

Of course there's mistakes if we look this as real fighting, like that fact that I don't keep my guard up here (I'm the one with jeans). But this is demonstration, I'm just throwing in some punches to my kungfu brother and he's demonstrationg counters. Oh and anti-clinch also.
