  • Free market? Apart from the government subsidies, import tariffs/restrictions, anti-trust/monopolies laws, etc, etc...

1 year since previous comment. Mmmm.

  • wow that blonde bimbo was the most transparent and partisan 'moderator' of any debate I have ever heard.

  • Maybe we can get the bank regulators to ban abortion because it causes economic situations like the one we have now.

  • "deregulation is not a bad thing its the regulators not doing their job" thet is the most asinine comment I have heard all week...only on FOX Snooze..

ya it was obvious the second you said keating they hit the going to commercial music like they always do when REAL issues are at hand who wouldn't when your getting payed 2mil to do a shitty news job with no experience I would and I'm honest FOX Snooze has the most ignorant NAZI corporate vampires that want to enslave the human race...

  • lmao bill clintons face makes me laugh

  • McCain is not his brother's keeper.

  • Changing the leader of a party does not get rid of all those around and below him! This George Bush's party with a new figure head NO CHANGE!

  • Wow these Republicans ganging up on David Sirota. And still David Sirota won.

  • "'exercised poor judgment" is just another way of saying we know you're guilty but don't have enough to convict you of anything.

  • So what did they say about the other Keating 5 you know the 4 DEMOCRAPS? You got to love every time people bring out the Keating 5 they never say shit about who the OTHER 4 were ALL DIRTY DEMOCRAPS. So i guess what they are saying is for every 1 dirty republican there are 4 corrupt democraps.

  • Xantheus07: You are a waste of air. Go and get an education or continue living in your fantasy island. If it quacks like a duck it's a republican Don't look at your mistakes but blame everyone else. Shit for brains!

  • Lol a idiot thanks for not adressing the FACT that 4 of the 5 were Democraps. Thanks and come again.

  • Xantheus07 : and thanks for not addressing the fact that none of those 4 were running for pres now were they. So ignore the real issues to suit your case. Now please stop wasting my time. If brains were for sale, I would lend you the money. Fuck it, I would buy them for you, at least I wouldn't have to read your ignorant nonsense.

  • What issue was i ignoring? Your the dumb ass who is ignoring the Issue 4 of the Keating 5 was Democraps but you prob still vote Democrap right jackass. Obama and Rezko wtf is that? Don't want to talk about that? Obama and Ayers? Hell all you got on McCain is Keating 5 which he was cleared of. How many connections does Obama have beside the 2 i all ready mentioned? You would have to buy me a brain if I'm to see things your way cause then i would be a mental defective like you.

  • Xantheus07: Again you are evading the issue. Why was the Keating five an issue recently. And there is only one reason and that is cuz Mccain was one of them. Hope you're not a sore loser. If so, go have a cry in the corner. BTW, I'm not a "dumocrat/democrap" or an other cute creative name you can copy from others. Cuz I know you didn't come up with it.

Now go have that dry. :-(

PS you have started to amuse me. I feel sorry for you. LOL

  • Again YES McCain was 1 of the 5. So how am i evading the issue? Your evading the issue of why it is brought up. To make him look bad (even though he was cleared of ANY wrong doing). I was pointing out the fact that YOU ignore is that 4 of the 5 are DEMOCRAPS. So maybe you should revise your duck comment to "if it stinks like shit its a Democrap". Oh i wonder how much Obama got for selling his seat =) another connection btw for those who are counting.

  • Xantheus07: you are a waste of my time. I bet you have few friends and probably your own family barely tolerates you.

  • Pssssssst 4 of 5 were Democraps . Thats something no Democrap can sweep under the rug. Oh another thing the top 4 CEO of Fany/Mac were Democraps what a bangup job they did. Democraps stealin taxpayer money and makeing liberal morons smile at the same time.

  • Xantheus07: PSSST are you still contacting me? Please go live in "your" past while I proceed with the future. You are really boring me now. Move on dude!

  • If I'm boring you why do you keep replying back? You amuse me and i enjoy your ignorance. Your kinda like a monkey in the zoo.Making allot of noise but all of it gibberish. Oh by the way Blagobitch is a Democrap as well.

  • Goebbels and the nazi party propaganda was finaly ridiculous compared to what "Fucks News" is doing

  • McCain was only ceared of this because he struck a deal with investegators and Ratted out his Buddies. He is just as guilty even if he wasnt charged.. One of the biggest fraud situation on our history, and this guy is running for president. Wake up people. Right wingers, PLEASE, PLEASE, wake up from your dream of ignorance and do some f-ing research! You will find the truth hurts.

  • just because they couldn't find a specific law that mccain broke, or didn't have enough evidence to convict, it doesn't follow that he is innocent in the matter. That bitch missed the point... and painted the picture black and white. "being cleared in the end is what matters", well, does that make it okay that he sold his political influence for $100,000?

  • None of you dumb CLODS have even noted the Root Cause of the "Keating" Savings & Loan Scams: NAKED WOMEN! Keating funded many, many anti-naked-women 'crusades' in Ohio warning that Moral Decay & Communism came from watching 'dirty movies'. His 'army' sledgehammered a Cinncinati adult theater whilst the cops calmly let them..wuz Jerry Springer the Mayor? You see what watching Ugly George pick up chicks leads to?

  • that newscaster is a wrecj

  • Anthony is a child. Oh, lets forgive this man for participating in some of the greatest crimes against the constitution because he needs to protect his legacy. It is a crying shame that seemingly well-to-do people with privilege are so terrified of losing their precious ego driven identities that they would sell their souls and allow us to slip further into slavery. It goes to show how ignorance has no boundaries. Anthony, ACCEPT your limitedness and BE FREE.

  • McCain was cleared by a Democratic investigation. Also, what about the other four? All Democrats, including John Glenn.

  • The issue is deregulation, which McCain is now supposedly doing a 180 on. When you look at the Savings and Loan scandal, it is prophetic of the current economic crisis, only on a smaller scale. McCain was in the middle of this, regardless of the party of the other participants (John Glenn is not running for president). You would think that McCain would have learned his lesson back then, but he never changed his mind on deregulation, retaining Phil Gramm as economic advisor until recently.

  • Fox f*ck up News.

  • ".... oh, and by the way, he was cleared."

  • On what other media channel does the moderator of the discussion/the host explicitly and obviously argue a partisan political line with guests? Maybe msnbc, this sort of journalism is so garbage its like its begging me to hate it

  • "we're clear", "we're clear"... what the hell is she talking about? He said that mccain was reviewed by the ethics committee. That's a fact. you can't argue that.

  • When you start talking about the problems. FOx says we gotta go .. what a bunch of idiots

  • McCain you going down. He wanted to use a smear campaign instead of sticking to the issues like Obama. Well guess what....Now it's comin! HAHA. I'm loving the debates. Rebublican comedians at their best!

  • HAHAHAHAHA FOX NEWS. LOLOLOLOLOL Can you say that without laughing? Bet you can't. FOX NEWS. LOLOLOLOL, ahahahaha my tummy hurts!!

  • Yeah he was rebuked and then cleared. Sure. If Obama can be criticized for Bill Ayers' actions (during which time Obama didn't know him and was in GRAMMER SCHOOL), why can't McCain be held accountable for a scandal that HE DID and is RELEVANT. Jeez.

  • omfg i hate fox

  • PS: Thanks David for having the balls to say it...

  • WOW fair and balanced my ass... So the Rebs started the bullshit with Bill Ayers???

Well, we are going to end it with the Keating 5... You called down the thunder Johnny Boy, well you got it!!!

  • Agree.

    John McCain---Guilty as charged

  • Fake News channel didn't want to hear the truth..America will be reminded tommorow..as Obama goes on the attack releasing a 13 minute documetary on the Keating 5 scandal..McCain-Palin wants to lie about Obama??...well Obama will have to tell the truth on McCain

  • if this dont proves that fox and the republicans talk to each other i dont know wat will because all fox news does is defend bad behavior from the republicans and its a shame that we got a channel that says that they are a new organization.

  • haha nice turn up the music as he mentions keating 5! Listen it plays for like 20 seconds at the end.

  • That is a boldfaced LIE!!! Republican John McCain was NEVER cleared. He was censured!!! He got the second worst punishment that a senator can receive, he was deemed guilty on all counts. Look at the record. Do some research. Fux News is just lying. They are engaged in Orwellian brainwashing against the American People. This is sick.

  • Fox always is for the Republican and they lie a lot. What a surprise.

John "Keating Five" McCain is insane. (Pass it on.)

  • and the blondie just agrees w/ the other guy the whole time, very objective...

  • Wow!!! Big surprise! Fux News now has a new angle!!! Blame Clinton!!! Blame Clinton for everything, 9/11?? Clinton's fault right? He got that memo warning him while he was at the ranch in Texas and then did NOTHING... (Wait that was Dubya)... He and his party was controlling all three branches of government and doing no oversight whatsoever for 8 years leading up to the Freddie and Fannie Mess... Wait sorry that was Dubya again, Hmmm. Well at least Clinton started those two wars that we can't...

  • I have never been so furious towards a particular news network in my life. Fox news does nothing but commit treason against every single one of their viewers.

  • nice job man. Way to stand up on the rebuking and way to be ready when they sunk the conversation to surrogate stumping. Obama should give you a job! ;)

  • Totally true!!! What news station's HOSTS argue with their guests in defense of a candidate?!?! And wow are they touchy about the keating 5!

  • Funny I always see the fighting on Fox News, and the hosts tend to interupt siding with the Republican. Yet CNN I don't see this kind of fighting.

  • Get 'em, David!!! go get 'em!!! Yeah, David Schroeder! Praise God for you! Don't let GOP hackjobs talk lies and shit about things that are evidently the truth, just to further align their buddy McCain to campaign off those lies!!! As Method Man says, "GET 'EM!!!"

  • Just so we're clear on this: John McCain voted for the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and Joe Biden voted against it. Typical of the Republican led Senate and House, the votes ran almost directly on party lines. The onlt Democrat who voted for the bill was Hollings of SC, a known GOP cronie. Note that the current Democratic led Senate and Congress have more legislation that has crossed party lines than any time in history. Why isn't this illuminated more. Fox News = GOP News

  • Why aren't we hearing more about John McCain's close relationship with Charles Keating? Why did McCain take money from Keating and return legislative favors? What does this say about McCain and the way he operates? Why haven't we heard more about McCain and Keating in this campaign? Doesn't this relate to the financial crisis taking place today?

  • "Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

We are repeating history because we REFUSE to learn from the past and have allowed those we have elected to be our eyes and ears and have our best interest at heart, ie Congress, Senate and President, have taken our society and turned it into their personal playground and spending our money like it's free cash!

  • Faux news is a branch of the republican party .. or maybe its the other way around.

Palin has now discussed hair styles with several international leaders. She baked a German chocolate cake. Now they claim she know something about international affairs.

McCain has made wild eyed statements about what to do about the current mess. Now he touts the fact that he has said something on the subject.

"We're having the same arguement families are having at dinner tables and restaurants across the country" - Is that a bad thing? Why not debate it some more, maybe come to some kind of mutual understanding. But no, before it can be taken anywhere, faux news moves onto more beach babes and gang killings

  • Yes David!! Tell it as it is!!

These fucks try to sweep thier dirt under the rug.

  • great job, David!

  • Now I know why I do not watch faux...

  • Rebuked. They didn't want to hear that word. By the Ethics Committee. Cindy McCain was in big business deals with Keating. Why isn't the press bringing that up?

  • REPOSTING Shadowwalter's comments:

History records of the Keating 5:

"After a lengthy investigation, the Senate Ethics Committee determined in 1991 that , Alan Cranston (D-CA), Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ), and Donald W. Riegle (D-MI),had substantially and improperly interfered with the FHLBB in its investigation of Lincoln Savings. Senators John Glenn (D-OH), and John McCain (R-AZ) were cleared of having acted improperly but were criticized for having exercised "poor judgment"."

  • Quit marking comments you disagree with as spam - that's childish. That's what repels people from the left. As a former socialist, the censorship, intolerance and hostility to those with other views from the left is disturbing. It's why I'm center, not left-wing, these days. This video and the comments I reposted are all legitimate and part of a healthy debate. If you quit marking comments you don't like as spam, and start debating the issues, maybe more will be inclined towards your side.

  • Wow ... you whine just like a Republican. You want a pity party? Down arrow means people disagree with you. Get over it.

  • Lame response. You come across like a high schooler. Debate some issues. Show you have at least a marginal knowledge of the outside world and the issues we face.

  • I'll debate the issues if you quit whining and attacking those who disagree with you. Since that won't happen, asta lavista.

  • David,

    can you answer the following:

Why hasn't anyone heard about Silver State Bank, that just failed last month and cost the US Taxpayer $500,000,000? McCain's son John sat on the board of that bank- until they were audited and found unsound. How much money did Cindy have in that bank for Andrew to get a seat on the board, and how much did she benefit from the bailout? Also wasn't the timing of that failure funny, sonsidering the whole economy was falling apart the following week?

    Thx

  • One thing that struck me as particularly significant is that Anthony Holland said "WE BELIEVE IN FREE MARKETS! IT'S AMERICA!" In other words, he is trying to push the idea that some experts have already determined that all regulation is bad, and that notion cannot be questioned, and he is sticking to that story despite the current economic crisis. I think the Republicans need a new story, but until they find it they're using the old one, despite it being dead.

  • "We do not support government bailouts of private institutions. Government interference in the markets exacerbates problems in the marketplace and causes the free market to take longer to correct itself."-- The 2008 Republican Party Platform. Wow, that didn't last long, did it? Kinda like McCain, the great champion of deregulating (only now-not so much)

  • Good stand David.

  • Deregulation, when it comes to lending institutions, banks, etc... is a BAD, BAD, BAD idea. Now the Repugs are saying, again, "it's all in the past..." so that they can avoid their lion's share of the blame. I love now that the REPUGS are screaming for regulations. Who is this woman Fox mouthpiece. She sure has the "shout so much no one else can say anything strategy" down. And we should always state that deregulation is primarily a REPUBLICAN thing.

  • I hate Republicans. They're the ones who love deregulation so much and constantly complain that the government obstructs the free market. Now all of a sudden they're champions of financial regulation? I can't believe this guy has the gall to blame Democrats for these problems.

  • Funny how Fox is supposedly a "fair and balanced" news station and is pretty much out and out defending John McCain's shameful record.

John McCain has one of the dirtiest scandals out there to his public record and has been getting a free pass for it during this entire election. Not only is the details of the Keating 5 scandal proven to be true, their mentioning is perfectly appropriate in light of the current economic crisis that the Country finds itself in. McCain should not be president.

  • The Keating Five affair is that Keating had made contributions of about $1.3 million to various U.S. Senators, and he called on those Senators to help him resist regulators. Asked whether his contributions had bought him influence, Keating said: I want to say in the most forceful way I can: I certainly hope so." McCain had received $112,000 from Keating. McCain said, "I have done this kind of thing many, many times," The US govt covered $3 billion of Lincoln S&L losses

  • David, thank god you brought up the Keating 5 scandal! McCain has been getting a free ride on this issue and I know will be brought again since he was the one that push for deregulation on the markets. It's amazing how the conservatives are trying so hard to defend him. Keep up the good work!

  • Its well known within my family that he was way more involved then he led people to believe.

  • "I have always exercised poor judgement."

    --John McCain

  • Amazing job, David! It's funny how the fair and balanced interviewer kept sticking up for the conservative side. hmmmm......

  • I don't watch fox :P just you tube lol. fox news is a joke. one vowel movement away from what they DO to the news, as Randi Rhodes says.
