Booked this on Sky Movies and thought it was going to be a "yawn"..HOW WRONG I was. I REALLY enjoyed this film. Caine is BRILLIANT ACTOR and he make this movie absolutely superb.
This could very well become a movie classic judging by these trailers. Something about Michael Caine's acting just makes you feel so much for all of his characters.
The best part of this scene is what is not shown. When Harry gives the boy the coup de grace, Harry doesn't blink.
They all blink when they discharge their weapons. DeNiro blinks, Peci blinks, Pacino blinks and Stallone blinks.
But watch Caine's eyes next time you see this movie.

I wish this was based on a true story, not the part about his friend being killed by scum hooligens but the part about one man wiping out some of the subhuman vomit that infest society. Truly amazing film, so powerful, and of course Michael Caine he is the man.

Booked this on Sky Movies and thought it was going to be a "yawn"..HOW WRONG I was. I REALLY enjoyed this film. Caine is BRILLIANT ACTOR and he make this movie absolutely superb.
