  • The best part of this scene is what is not shown. When Harry gives the boy the coup de grace, Harry doesn't blink.

They all blink when they discharge their weapons. DeNiro blinks, Peci blinks, Pacino blinks and Stallone blinks.

But watch Caine's eyes next time you see this movie.

  • He must be a member of the 95th urban task force... lol

  • killer quote

  • He doesn't say 'son', he says 'Sir'. Marine background an' all...

  • @murraythehotscot

    ni he dosnt dup shit

    read the script

  • @aidzz69 No he said Sun, as in Sun Tzu or Sun Yat Sen, the director left it intentionally ambiguous as to which Chinese statesman he was refering to so that audiences would be forced to come to their own conclusion and ultimately discover that it doesnt matter what Sun he was refering to, both have their virtues and vices and that ultimately we inhabit a dark, Nietzschean abyss from which there is no escape. Brilliant bit of film making really

  • @murraythehotscot Nope its Son. I checked the script book.

  • @murraythehotscot he clearly says son...just saying.

  • Dude, if only Clint Eastwood didn't die in Gran Torino, could you imagine the awesomeness of his character and Harry Brown teaming up? "Harry was in town visiting an old comrade in arms, but neither were prepared for what happened next, skaters keyed the Gran Torino, now Harry and Walt are on a rampage of revenge and redemption, but is it worth the cost?'

  • @TheRhinehart86 Thanks for the random spoiler there mate :/

  • @Vetgo21 Hey if the movies a few years old, spoilers dont apply. Besides, if youve ever seen any of those 'douche bag becomes nice' movies you know that the protagonist dies in his act of redemption.

  • @Vetgo21 Not to mention, I think its established early in the movie that hes dying, so its not exactly a complete surprise when he dies...

  • @TheRhinehart86 Yeah true.

  • This is some dark shit, very dark. Michael Caine at his best. Gonna buy the DVD now. Love this film.

  • @SinDawg030 Powerful film, saw it in the cinema almost two years ago ; some good stuff in it

  • @TheKenfig Same

  • @LorcRezKaze66 True that.

  • Michael Caine's a badass

  • His mate in Ulster was.......A TANGERINE!!!!!

  • the bloody guy who invented guns shud b shot. oh the irony! same with the guy who discovered nuclear weapons, hey here's an idea lets invent weapons that we can use to destroy ourselves! clever men aren't they?! humans r the only species on earth who kill members of their own species!

  • @amunro7 try goggle cannibalism (zoology) and se what happens in the animal kingdom...

  • @BerikSV lol i no im very aware that the animal kingdom do wat they have to do to survive! and we r still the only species who kill each otha for no reason! think about it! x

  • @reewatchmilpou i.ha.venet.fli.x

  • mr michael Caine, you are my hero

  • So I guess what Michael Caine means when he says he's never told that to anyone is "Not many people know that."

  • @EISOBAX I'm sorry! It's worth watching even if you already know every detail.

  • at least we don't have drive by shootings on a daily basis in the UK. if guns were legal and readily available it would probably be much worse

  • @northsouthempty No we just have, knife attacks, arson, violent dog attacks and pensioners being beaten to death instead.

Before pointing fingers at america, go look at the actual breakdown for their crime figures (that have been dropping as gun ownership has gone up btw). Tighter controlled states have higher gun crime, and crime rates in general.

Look at the violent crime figures posted by newyorkairsoft.

Gun ownership lowers crime, it doesn't raise it.

  • @galenwolf

To break it down even further, Galen, crime in the US varies incredibly by area. My county has a murder rate well below that of Europe (about 0.08 per 100,000 per year). We have many gun owners and gun ranges. Crime is influenced by culture, demographics, economics, and income - NOT firearm ownership. All data points to the opposite as you said.

  • @galenwolf Well, I'd disagree with that last statement. Here in Canada gun control is pretty tight, yet crime ratings are pretty low across the board. It seems like crime rate has simply nothing to do with gun ownership.

  • @leexag We have nearly as many guns in Canada as the US, per capita. In 1976 the government did a study to figure out how many guns were in Canada before implimenting Bill C-51, the first round of major gun control. Answer was, about 21 million. We have importing thousands since then, and destroyed/exported few.

  • @galenwolf Another American wanking off the barrell of his gun. You should go listen to "Glorified G" by Pearl Jam.

Crime rates in America grotesquely outweighs that of the UK, period. Regardless if it is dropping or not, it is still far more rampant state side.

That bullshit about guns being illegal in the UK is the aforementioned. It's perfectly legal to own a firearm in jolly ol' blighty, providing you actually have a valid reason for owning it, not just for high school massacres.

  • @TaffTalk Actually im British.

Whilst nationmaster shows the US has a larger crime rate than the UK, the UK is 2nd btw. The US has 10 times our pop. and crime per capita shows the UK 6th - US 8th. We also don't compare well in other crime statistics too, like rape. The US isn't in the top 37 for murders (thats all types, not just with fire arms). US gang culture causes a lot of the crime, a culture making headway in the UK.

  • @TaffTalk Also, a lot of the cities with high rates of shootings are in places where fire arms are more tightly controlled. You'll find that in states with concealed carry permits the crime rate is lower, and no wonder. Its easier to commit crime when you know the person is obeying the law and not carrying, whilst you are.

  • @TaffTalk Also yes you can own a rifle in the UK, but it has to be a single shot, or .22 if its self loading. Not exactly great for a shop keeper or home owner.

As for high school shootings, its not such a simple thing to say "banning guns would solve the issue". Those places are gun free zones in the first place, so no could oppose the shooters who where mentally unstable. In the Virginia massacre the shooter got a hold of guns because the law wasn't followed, he didn't pass a psyche test.

  • @TaffTalk The horrific Dunblane massacre happened because the man had been legally given the right to own a gun by the police. They'd known he was mentally unstable since 1974. If our existing gun laws at the time had been followed he wouldn't have been given a gun permit in the first place. The police failed to follow their own orders and it led to the deaths of 16 innocent children, and one adult.

I can understand peoples want to ban guns, but we did so and gun crime has risen.

  • @TaffTalk HOWEVER! After seeing what occurred with the riots, I wouldn't lift the ban. When you look at America you see two sides of gun ownership; one side is the lawful side that teaches respect for gun ownership, the other is the gang culture. I don't think we have a youth culture that could be taught respect for gun ownership, not when they consider riots to be a shopping spree. Whilst i'd trust some adults with fire arms, I would never trust their kids.

  • @galenwolf That's the point, that is exactly how it is in the UK. Once you are over 18, you can join a gun club and fire all sorts of weapons on ranges and such. If you are in the Air/Army/Navy Cadets you can use their ranges from the age of 16, once you are over 21 you can purchase a firearm. However, you actually need a reason. Air Rifles and baseball bats are ample amount of force to protect ones property.

Farmers however are equipped with shotguns and rifles, etc.

  • @northsouthempty Well since the handgun ban in 1997, gun crime has actually gotten worse, so that pretty much contradicts your theory. Criminals know that they can get away with gun crime, because obtaining a legal firearm in this country is difficult and it is illegal to use a firearm to protect yourself, even if necessary. That is why gun crime has increased. The government does everything they can to try and ban legal guns, when the illegal guns can still be obtained by criminals easily.

  • @northsouthempty your an idiot. Many people in Switzerland have rifles and their gun violence isn't extremely high.

  • wow. so this is what Alfred was doing before he became batman's butler.

  • Michael Cain saw active in Korea, which makes him more hardcore than any "gangsta".

  • After guns were banned in UK, violent crime climbed 300% [over 1 million in 1 decade]. But all the gun haters in USA tried to make USA into another UK. Gun ownership went up every day in USA, and crime rates continue to drop according to FBI numbers.

Michael Caine's role is almost like a British way of saying "F U" to the American Hollywood liberal's intent to ban all rights to self defense. Thumbs up to Michael Caine!!

  • @newyorkairsoft guns arn't banned in the UK. You just can't walk into a store and walk out with an ak47. you need proper licencing and can only own certain types of firearms. Yes that list dosen't contain an ak47. Violent crime is much lower in Britain than USA. and what violent crime does occur in the UK is mainly knife crime. Seriously do you just make up your facts. No crime statistic has ever rose 300% in a decade.

  • @98raza20 guns are banned in UK when most people, that means it's banned. If only cops, and a very small percent of people owns it, it's basically as good as banned. And if you defend yourself with a gun, at home, like Tony Martin did, you get send to prison for life.

I can't link to anything here, so if you google "UK violent crime," you will find articles and numbers from the left and the right. So, no, I didn't make up numbers.

  • @98raza20 violent crime in UK is HIGHER then US, in fact, higher then all other EUs nations, sorry, hollywood lied to you: according to the EU commission, UK's violent crime: 1,158,957 out of 61 million population [1 out of 61], Austria, the 2nd highest, is 133,546 [8 million], France is the "safest" at 324,765 [62 million].

According to FBI, USA, in 2009, is about 1 mil violent crime out of 307 million [1 out of 307 vs 1 out of 61]. So, UK is whole lot more violent then US of A.

  • @98raza20 what I am saying is: no, I didn't make up facts. I used to think USA is the most violent place in the western world, because that's what the news, Europeans, and everyone else said. Then I looked at numbers, and realized we aren't. In fact, our crime rate had been steadily dropping in the last 30 years, according to FBI, and our gun ownership, the RIGHT to SELF DEFENSE had also been increasing in the last 30 years. Perhaps NO relationship, but perhaps, bad guys don't want to get shot.

  • The best part about this movie is that after he kills all the bad guys he doesn't get punished by having to die himself. He just goes on with his life without all the dirt bags to worry about. End of story.

  • Caine actually fought in Korea.

  • Cold blooded!

  • Just watched Zulu! What an amazing actor!

  • michael caine playing veterans in his movies seem to always tell the best stories, i swear...

  • A good film featuring a old school action hero! Michael Caine still got the edge!

  • Anybody knows whats that artist playing techno when Harry enters that room with that girl on the couch?

  • tap 3 to see caine wanking

  • Just a fantastic movie and what more great things can one say about Sir Michael Caine!!!

  • wat movie is this

  • @myviperrules I'll give you a hint, it starts with an H and ends with arry Brown

  • Comment removed

  • @AlexSaysHi2013 Lmao your comment to viper was funny, how dozy can someone be lol

  • @ETSpacealien my old Human Anatomy and Physiology did that all the time, lol

  • @myviperrules Harry Brown

  • bad ass movie.....

  • classic...michael cain starts of as a shit scared pensioner....then turns into fuckin' Rambo....hilirious....but good fun...your only suppose to blow the fuckin' doors off....rock'n'roll

  • "You shoulda called an ambulance... for the girl." i watched this last night i didnt know what to expect from the movie or anything. It blew my fucking balls off!

  • "We all took cover, and watched him die", most chilling line ever in a movie.

  • He doesn't say WEAPON he say WOMEN!!!

  • So odd to think that the dealer who's been shot is the killer in Creep. Such a creepy actor, he needs to be in more films!

  • *bang* there i finished the clip off. Class film.

  • This man is 77 years old..How does he do it??..Amazing Mr Caine

  • @CosmicDestroyer99 init he is an amazing actor and hes in good shape

  • @CosmicDestroyer99 He clearly maintains his weapon, Son.

  • @DMCFreak Sure does

  • Best one-liner ever!

  • this movie is incredible. One of the greatest movies of the 21st century, truly makes you believe in human spirit again. not the gangster scums of course, Harry brown, I wish there were people like this in reality

  • @RedSquarrel666 you should check out the movie Death sentence staring Kevin Bacon if you like this one, it's a smiliar type movie.

  • @RedSquarrel666 The movie flawless - also with Michael Cain as a leading role - is a extremely good movie, too.

  • @RedSquarrel666 I completely agree. The scum that exists now should just be isolated and burnt off - bring back the concentration camps.

  • @RedSquarrel666 What, enraged self-righteous sociopaths? Harry is only the good guy because the people he's fighting are worse. If you think Harry is somehow exemplary then your moral compass is a little skewed.

  • @451harri Typical morality whore, get a grip man and your own opinion along the way, you're blinded by what society expect of you and adhere to every rule, even if people such as the ones in this movie aren't, and ARE getting away with it.

You could say the same about Batman, he only targets the evil, is he a "Self-righteous sociopath"? Or was that just a description of yourself?

    Please.

  • @decpower So you insult me, tell me I'm blinded, imply that I'm a self-righteous sociopath... you're a charmer.

And yes, I would say the same about Batman. Batman is an emotionally retarded rich manchild who is completely incapable of dealing with loss and trauma in a mature and sensible manner, and this is something a lot of Batman's writers have dealt with.

I still love Batman, mind you. What were we talking about again?

  • @451harri Nothing, carry on good citizen.

  • 10 people failed to maintain their weapons

  • @useaan and should have called an ambulance for the girl

  • I saw this film when it came out. It was terrific. We all have a little Harry Brown in us. That guy was one sick fuck. Now he's one dead fuck.

  • the evil weed man must die!

  • If I recall correctly, he kills a major drug dealer who is also a child molester.

  • @eviltreemonster Right in the head, through the windshield of a car from a distance of 25 feet I think...with a pistol.

  • @TraustiGeir

Thats it exactly. Serves the vile beast right :)

  • and the lesson here is do not fuck with alfred pennyworth

  • the junkie :-/

  • Now you're going to just sit your ass down and listen to grandpa's fucking stories!

  • the worlds need more harry browns . the world does not miss scum like this .

  • you can blame minority groups for this sort of behaviour in real life minority groups are the sort that protect the gutless crims or violent offenders and make life hard for the honest folk ..the world is slowly going down the toilet because we have minorities getting the better of our law and so fourth ..police cannot use batons ,police cannot use tasers, police cannot use guns ,police cannot use clolourful language police should use hugs, kisses and a pat on the ass to enforce the law

  • @toddskisyd by minorities do you mean nonwhites? lol I hope not, I'm white and I realize that we have filth just like other groups do.

  • @Volf99 no i mean the do gooders out their that change everything they are a minority like taking away discpline for instance it's illegal to smack your child ,So those type of idiots that bring in those laws minorities they are way out of touch with reality and hence society suffers because they push idiotic views across

  • @Volf99 ah, ok I agree with you then

  • It's Death Wish in London. I'm down for it! Michael Caine is a bad ass! Caine IS Alfred Pennyworth. Alfred a former SAS dude, with The Dark Knight. Hell yeah!

  • love this movie and love the accent too.. i enjoyed it great actting too

  • Anyone seeing a walt kowalski thing goin on here? fucking fantastic

  • @nickyboy22071989

Yeah, except Harry Brown surpasses Walt Kowlaski.

  • sean harris

  • sean harris

  • Freak'n great when he shots the guy. Caine didn't even blink, ---that is a true man who is used to shoot guns. Something that unfortunately other actors fail at.

  • @pantonec Beccause Caine explained in his acting masterclass, "not blinking" is his technique..

  • Hail Exterminance.

    }:-D

  • thia movie is really fucked up, i reccomend it to everyone!

  • Michael Caine. part of a dying breed of truly great and versitile actors

  • "You should've called an ambulance, for the girl" xD

  • BADASS

  • This is what is going through Harry Brown's mind.

Firstly, his friend his dead and he wants revenge.

Secondly, he did NOT fight nor did he risk his life and watch his best friends die to save a country which is now a shit hole full of these twats and keep it free!

  • This is without a doubt, one of the best British films of this time.

  • I'm pretty sure he says 'You've failed to maintain your woman son." Not... Weapon... :x I geuss its just me.

  • Kill the lowlifes. Nobody will miss them.

  • @Glennfalconi Yeap!! All those violent yobs and narc user should be kill, normal people and kids are safe when those lowlifes are dead...They dont belong to the prison...

  • I love the druggy's reaction to the "Blew his insides out".

And one of the best lines to finish "You should of called an ambulance for the girl" *BANG*

  • He hasn't been hit in the liver, the wound is on his left side. The liver is the the right. More than likely gone into his lower intestine, which would still be pretty fucking painful.

  • @jimboy162

I'm pretty sure being shot anywhere would be "pretty fucking painful" :D

  • does anyone no who sean harris has dated etc.?? <3 harry brown

  • that movie was so awsome,i loved it.micheal caine did a real good job in that movie........

  • LOLOLOL

  • He is tough. From Irish working class traveller stock. Fought in Korea.

  • I just want to shoot at the pigeons on my roof...LOL JKS Die you fucking drugged up fucks!

  • im glad Michael shot his fucker if you watch the movie you'll understand

  • @dogwafter yeah he was real scum the bloody yellow skinned junkie tosser

  • I wish this was based on a true story, not the part about his friend being killed by scum hooligens but the part about one man wiping out some of the subhuman vomit that infest society. Truly amazing film, so powerful, and of course Michael Caine he is the man.

  • @shaun180381 the character of harry brown, probably showing humanity in finishing him off rather than letting him bleed to death in pain..

kind of suggests the character would have liked to do that for his mate in the army that got shot.

  • @shaun180381 Смерть от чумы банд. ХОРОШИЙ

  • @shaun180381 there are vigilantes in the UK. look up the "Merstham Justice Squad." its not one man, but its the same ideals.

  • Typical for veterans to torture people with their old war-stories.

  • Booked this on Sky Movies and thought it was going to be a "yawn"..HOW WRONG I was. I REALLY enjoyed this film. Caine is BRILLIANT ACTOR and he make this movie absolutely superb.

    GREAT ACTOR AND GREAT FILM

  • What a great film :) Quite disturbing and brutally violent, truly brutal. Just amazing, Michael Caine gives a brilliant performance too

  • tough

  • i dont think thats where your liver is i thought it was closer to the ribs on the right side

  • @66sjones you sound like one of the scummy chavs from the film

thats how them little shits speak

  • @NintyGuy999 I AM A MOTHERFUCKER

  • BATMAN's BUTLER :D

  • This could very well become a movie classic judging by these trailers. Something about Michael Caine's acting just makes you feel so much for all of his characters.

  • great movie!

  • sounds more like "You failed to maintain your women, son".

    no offence, Brits
