hmm. I kinda like it.

I am a very harsh critic of people covering joanna newsom's material, though. There are some things that could be improved. Particularly, I like the singing.

I don't particularly like what you guys did at the end of the chorus, that kind of upbeat da-da- dada-da da da dadada. That could be taken out. And I like the drums, it's just that the driving gets a little repetitive, I don't know how that can be fixed. Maybe quiet it up on some parts or change it up somehow. Good job

I think this cover would be improved by using the 'VIth root third' chord in the verses as joanna does... it would overcome the monotonous rhythm of the verses. If you don't know I / II / III etc chords the VI chord is basically Am if your playing in C, Bm if your playing in D etc. The 'root note third' is just playing C as the bass note in the Am chord.

Just a suggestion to consider or disregard completely.
