Definitely very helpful, thank you...but keep in mind, this is for beginners and this is going way too fast. I had to keep pausing and rewinding to keep up. Just a helpful bit of info for any future ''beginner'' videos. Thanks for the great tutorial otherwise!
The all-time best instructional vid ever! I saw other vids, purchased a knitting book, and nothing clicked until I clicked on this video. Slow, steady, and with kid (or frustrated adult) friendly visuals like "make a 'P'..." And it's so simple too. I don't get why all those other sources wanted me to make loops with my fingers or a wrap that looked like cat's cradle when this method is out there. I've finished my first scarf and am working on a basket weave baby blanket. Thank you so much!
I recently began teaching my 8 y.o. niece to knit. She was having trouble casting on with the methods I taught her. I was looking for an easier cast on that I could teach her when I found this one. This one is so easy that I taught my sister ( my niece's mom), how to do it, and she doesn't know the first thing about knitting!
does anyone know the size of needles being used in the video? I've never knitted before and this looks sooo simple I am gonna try it :) Thanks for uploading!!!!
Hahahaha i feel like a kid again watching this. It's like blue's clues for knitting. But this really helped me learn how to knit the perfect christmas present!
I found at least 3 videos that showed the 3 most important basic stitches. I'm real thrilled about the easy way to cast on. I finally catch on and can do it too. THANK YOU so very very much.
I cannot thank you enough for this! O_O The instructions I got from some random kit were sooo horrible! Small little paper with about 3 very small (<2") b/w pictures and confusing.
This? Exact opposite. This very so very helpful to my tactile/visual self :D

I was looking for an easy cast on to teach my niece because the way I learned is pretty tricky. I think she'll definitely be able to learn this one!
