@cesoprano I think you are mixing up two things:

- the Gedankenexperiment Tom describes

and

- the actual experiment, quite recently done, to which he also refers to quite detailed in the workshop.

The latter - and its implications - being hard to understand even by Pysicists.

He describes it in one of the Calgary workshop videos - don't know in which now.

The essence of both still being the availability of data.

Maybe he will comment.

@vcoonrod ive thought that too. I was thinking maybe some day some one will come along, with an even bigger toe that explains what's outside of consciousness and TC will be like Newton, and the new guy will be on the shoulders of a giant.

It would be good that Tom could understand the Quantum Eraser experiment and realize that it is different than creating an entanglement by the detector trying to measure at the slits. It is a false statement and not what happens in the Quantum Eraser. Making a measurement is an irreversible process and will never give you back interference again if you erase data. Lack of understanding of QM makes this spreading a lie that never happened. "They found out ..." is a lie, that never happened.
