I tragically lost Brian several years ago...and that was a song I held on to through it because death never changedt hat feeling...not even after all these years...and hearing that song come out of Rob's mouth just makes me so incredibly happy. You never know who will come into your life or under what trivial circumstances..I met the love of my life through Matchbox 20 of all things..lol...and always wanted to feel for someone the way this song discribes and now its one.To me its just beaituful

and Rob will always have more heart and talent then that hack wanna be Michael no talent they did that show and brought into the band..that just disappointed me so bad and upset me they did that....I havent seen anything with him since.I hope they came to their senses..he didnt deserve to sing Michaels song.....Chance? True that NO ONE was like Michael or did it better..but I adore Rob Thomas and if could respect anyone covering this and making an attempt..it would be him...because I know Rob is a fan and did it with heart..The person below me..That made me tear up to think of what could have been..and it is a shame he wasnt up on that stage with them...I miss him to this day...

I would have loved to have been there for this momentous occasion. What a great night for Rob. He seems to be having such a great time. He doesn't seem to take these opportunities to work with other artists for granted and makes the most of it, while doing an excellent job.

Never Tear us Apart is my favourite INXS song. And no, Rob isn't Michael and he shouldn't try to be. He did it his way which, in my opinion, is why he is so brilliant at doing covers. (his own stuff is totally awesome). He doesn't try to be the original. I really liked this. I love to see what RT is capable of. Thank you so much for posting it. I have been dying to see his stuff with INXS since he said he was going to be doing some stuff with them.

Michael Hutchance is not INXS. INXS is a band, an entire group of musicians. Band members change.Yes, he was a key member, but I would venture to say the parting of Andrew or Tim would affect the band more than Michael's parting has. I loved MH's time with INXS, but he is not all there is to the band. I'm glad they didn't just fade away like so many other bands that loose a key member. We can morn Michael without hating Tim, Andrew, Kurt, Jon, and Gary for continuing the greatness that is INXS.

@djtron1x I think a lot of people get upset with the band, just because they don't know where else to direct their hurt. I say this as someone who's struggled with a myriad of feelings regarding MH in the past 13+ years. I'm not sure that another band member leaving would affect them MORE. Just as much, perhaps. But not more.
