  • Works for me, thank you.

  • THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! I know that I can just press the little x and it goes away but it really bugs the HELL OUT OF ME! I've just done what you've said (restarted my computer to test) and it worked. that's annoyed me for 2 years if not more so thanks again =-)

  • do you know how to tkae it off of a game with windows live liek fallout 3

  • @2Kickyum -- That's a good question. If it's embedded into a game, or if the game calls it up automatically, I'm not sure how to disable that, other than possibly following the instructions here to see if that helps. Or, if you never use it, remove it entirely.

  • Thanks for this - I've recently been irritated by Windows Live Messenger firing when I never use it. So when I spotted this video I decided to watch it and have now acted on you advice. It's easier to do some things when you've been show how, than to work out how yourself!

  • Your'e welcome! Thanks for posting a comment.

  • Thanks for the tip...I had meant to look into this..its always annoying!, I am only using Windows for running my "Yourself!fitness" software..

  • Thanks, Michael. I enjoyed your latest postings about making a stick dulcimer. By the way, I'm used iShowU HD for Apple to make this video. The Windows 7 session was running using VM Ware 2. To convert the audio from single channel to stereo, I ran the video through Stomp.
