I know it is just natural reaction to try to avoid the contact, but let them come across your nose. They will spin off course and you can drive to the pits to pound out the sheet metal.

Not terribly fast. May 40-45 MPH? I didn't apply the brakes. The grass was wet.  Not much to be done other than enjoy the ride and hope i didn't break anything.

Man that sucks! Stupid MERC should have slowed down so HE could have made the turn properly.

BTW how fast were you going in this turn?

I know its past already but maybe the wheel should have been left straight and you apply the brakes gradually harder and you might have missed the tires? Just a thought. Good luck next year!
