hey men i'm new in new jersey i'm from hawaii but i like to buy a ticket for the train going to philadelpia i'm in newark right now and i dont know were is the station for the train going to philadelpia
I would love to answer that for you, Yes!!!! da majority of NJT trains use the interlocking to turn around only in rush hour, so that it doesn't tie up the tracks in trenton, cause usually the trains would just terminate on whateva track and turn around from their!! during off peak hours if u see a train that goes to the interlockin, theirs a great it not in service and its goin to the yard
I know that it takes almost two hours to get to Newark Penn Station to Philadelphia 30st station. But how long does it take to get to philadelphia Airport.
NJ Transit operates the "Clocker" service for Amtak directly to 30th street. You would still have to transfer to the R1 to the Airport. It's about twice the cost.
NJT doesn't operate any service from NYP to 30th Street. PA DOT doesn't want NJT to operate in PA because they think it might take over R7 service. So NJT instead added the super express 39xx trains
@Great0ne1 absolulty right NJT does have express trains from NYC to trenton!!! they go to secaucus I guess then newark penn then a str8 shot tp princeton junction then trenton the final stop
You can also go directly to Baltimore-Washington Airport (BWI) directly by train. Take Amtrak to Penn station (Baltimore) and then take MARC to BWI. Or you can just take Amtrak all the way.
I have traveled from NYC Penn Station to Philly on NJ Transit to Trenton and then connecting to SEPTA to Market Street just to ride the Philadelphia trolleys.
Just a gently-offered correction here - the correct name of the Philadelphia train organization is SEPTA, not SPETA. I had done a search for SEPTA and train the other day and didn't find this. If you are able to change it from SPETA to SEPTA, that may help others find it. Thanks.

He was not backing up & I dont remember a cab car. Someone forgot to get off so they had to stop the train after it left the platform.
Sean70z 4 years ago

Amtrak might have been slightly faster but would cost $66 to 30th street, plus the fare to the airport. I paid just over $30 (i think).

SEPTA probably is short for South East Pennsylvania Transit Authority. Does it get any "cute" yet unflattering nicknames, like "septic"?

U are right that stands for SEPTA
