XD I'm not sure if anyone realizes this, but Dennis Hopper makes an awesome reference to Children of the Corn. In Children of the Corn, they believe in "he who walks behind the harvest", so when Dennis Hopper shows up and says "I'm the lord of the Harvest", it just goes perfectly with referencing Children of the Corn.

To most mainstream horror fans his role as Otis Driftwood (House of 1000 Corpses/The Devil's Rejects) is probably the most recognizable. This is one of the worst reviews I've ever heard, you're missing everything great about this movie...yes the original is alot more "serious", but there are elements of humor in it as well...listen to the conversations between the "family", they are really funny, and Stretch in the role of the "final girl", is awesome!!!

He has to do the rest of the monster madness episodes, so he can't get carried away with one movie also, he was trying to not spoil it for everyone... Leatherface 3d comes out 10-5-2012. Already in post production. I met Dan Yeager the new Leatherface, and he's making sure that the new film goes backs to the roots. Its a direct sequel to the original, has nothing to do with the remakes or other sequels

You've got to understand that Tobe Hooper originally intended to have some heavy elements of comedy in the original T.C.M. (Texas Chainsaw...) However, everyone was so horrified that they didn't see the humor. So he made the sequel to point out his humor in the first one, sort of like Evil Dead 1 and then 2.

On the other hand, you can't compare Evil Dead with TCM, their two completely different animals.

I honestly don't find anything remotely comedic about TCM, and I don't see how Tobe Hooper spending 4 solid weeks fillming in 120 degree weather with $80.000 in his pocket, while using real skeletons, and a real chainsaw just to be comedic makes any sense!
