You pick the best quotes and moments, those that will generate discussion and make the show exciting to watch. However the editor has the power to create a character, make her an idiot, a bitch, innocent or whatever. The footage that doesn't make the show, might show you Demelza is just a normal kid, as are all of them..

I don't hate the kid, but I do feel that she's living up to the stereotype of a teenage girl. She isn't able to admit to her own faults, so picks on others if she spots even an inkling of those faults in them.
