  • I haven't heard this "Wonderful" song in sooo long!...I absolutely "Love" it! :)

  • How can you not like this song?

  • I think this is the best video of this song on youtube. Very good job of synchronizing the music to the video. The sound quality is excellent.

  • i saw her today

  • would have liked to have seen this actor with his shirt off but I did like the song

  • I would say that this song is about women in general...after all, women are evil~EVE

  • wow!! I remember my parents had this song on one of those old K tel records I think it was called songbird series!

  • Romance!!!!!!!!!! I Love it.

  • What is the name of the actress here ?

  • Nancy Lee Grahn and Rick Hearst. Soap Stars on ABC General Hospital

  • Thanks, I remember the man from Guiding Light in 90's where he played alongside a dark haired actress now in some CSI type show, (oddly, he has a lookalike, Rick Herbst, or it is Hearst , in Brain Damage from 1988) while Miss Grahn may have also been in a daytime drama from the 80's/90's. I always thought the soaps are a fun, underappreciated form of escapisim.

  • Great song!, i agree with the original poster by the way :)

  • My Devil had red har and blue eyes...

    WOWEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

  • i love this song it is just a beautiful song i love it i think terri is wonderful and i also commend her on never giving up i know being disabled can effect a person but you have to just roll with the punches may GOD bless you terri as young kids say you rock

  • I don't agree with Nancy Lee Grahn's social views, but she is beautiful and talented. I loved the song at first and didn't watch the video all that closely, but it's grown on me. Fast.

  • Love the sing --thanks

  • Reminds me of Middleburg Florida... Country, rural, good times... My parents playin this song on the radio while we all played out side... Good memories...

  • I don't watch the show, but this is the only decent video of this song around, so you got faved! Besides, the guy is... HOT!

  • amatures must be an english major

  • Very clever lyrics. This was a good period in country music. I loved all that stuff from the early eighties.

  • @kw94544 I agree, but I would include late 70's.

  • @kw94544 Yes, early 80's country was awesome and the late 70's as well.

  • The song kicked ass back in 1981. It was good to hear it again. The video is not great but what can you expect fropm amatures?

  • stupid ass video,BUT A GREAT SONG, Get a life and quit watchin' those dumb ass soaps!

  • better than dumb ass, ignorant critics, that have nothing else to do but bitch on other peoples enjoyment

  • AMEN and ^5. peace.

  • she was a gret singer but i don,t think she was singing too long.

  • i think she got religion and stuck to gospel not long after this came out.

  • Great song!

  • peace, bronx. that is a great song. i was born and raised in the south. i love the southern girls, but i swear you yankee girls are a breath of fresh air sometime. (in reference to your screen name, "bronxbornbroad") i love it.

    peace

  • Is it?I can't tell. Some shots look like him,and some don't.But,yeah, don't open the door for Alan Michael. He's baaad!

  • That's Alan Michael from Guiding Light

  • I thought that the singer was a man until my mother informed me otherwise. XD

  • That's mean,but true.I thought the same thing when I was a kid. :-)

  • At first, it was another of the Gibb brothers

  • I haven't heard that song in twenty-five years!!! Thank you so much for posting it. It brought back so many memories!!!

  • The low voice is obviously a part of the charm...it blurrs the edges. Also, she was rather young when she recorded it, probably early 20s. I believe this was the 1970s.

  • song is an early 80's tune 81 i think also she is a blind woman

  • yes she was blind, but a good piano player and singer.

  • siempre pense que cantaba un hombre...... buena cancion

  • Put your email address in my YouTube mailbox

and I'll send you the song....

  • Wow! b rings back memories. The video is a nice match - although I could also suggest a particular scene from the Bloodties TV series.

  • Incredible song...I could play it all day and night. I wish it would come out SOMEHWERE to download!

  • I can only lol.

    Good song and video tho!

  • I don't think her voice is that deep. She just sounds liek a middle-aged woman.

  • I agree with you AmericaTops, I thought it was a guy too.

Did not know about the blindness.

    Great one-hit wonder though.

  • i finally found this

  • She lives in Grovetown, Georgia...a suburb of Augusta. Grovetown is her hometown and she has lived there her entire life.

  • yep! I used to be married to her 3rd cousin.

  • She has the lowest female voice I've ever heard! Below Ann Murray even! Solid. When I FIRST heard this song, I thought it was a guy singing - except that "he" was singing about a man! *grin*

  • My mom loves this song!!!

  • Terri Gibbs was blind since birth.

  • OMG... I didn't know that

  • ITs been written that when she Terri suffered some kind of mishap that occured while she was a baby insie an incubator. Wikepedia or something. Does anyone know what she's been doing lately? Retired in Georgia? anyone?

  • Does anyone have Gibbs singing this on Solid Gold?

  • Or on American Bandstand in 1981?

Or on one of the 1980's Nashville Network (long before it was National Network TNN and then Spike TV) country music shows?

  • I just found the song she sang "The First Thing I'll See" and that pretty much cleared it up for me. What a tear jerker!

  • Does anyone know if Terri is blind? Great song!

  • Yes...

  • Yes she blind.

  • Blind since birth.

  • Thanks for post, been looking for this song, even stumped Napster.

  • I love this song! You rock for posting this!

  • I love this song but i'm not into soap opera's. Thanks for post anyway :)
