  • Such beautiful babies!

  • What a wonderful sight! And it is such a healthy-looking, beautiful baby green mamba.

  • excellent!

  • congrats!

  • I guess that even after seconds of emerging out of the egg, one would have to be very foolish to put thier fingers anywhere near them.

  • SOOO COOOL!!!!

  • Ah frothy egg goo. =D They are so adorably lethal after hatching. So very emerald. I wish they stayed like that.

Would a venomated bite from these little guys at hatchling age be very serious?

  • Yes.

  • Ohh yes you'd better believe it. These guys have a lot of venom at hatchling stages, and being hatchlings...they cannot controll the injection, so you would quite literally have both glands emptied into you.

  • its unfortunate that one would think that.

  • ?? - I always thought that hatchlings and neonates couldn't controll the injection of venom.

  • WOW - At birth they are such a dark emerald green and then when they get older it turns to a lighter & brighter green, it seems.Wonderful video and thanks for sharing it with us! I'm so excited that you guys have been posting more videos recently, I look forward to each and every one.I would love to see some of a Bushmaster venom extraction, if you guys ever do that (I don't know) They are one of my favorite snakes, and also the Gaboon Viper, I've seen your videos of them and they are Great!~Lee
