  • i think im in love

  • good air flow

  • i know the girls one cup of coffey end you don't have a system enny more.

  • without that gay is better to watch.. i would kill everybody who is hearing that stupid music

  • that's just a bench table with an 250mm fan on the top...

you could just build something like that yourself

  • amazing stuff!!! does the case come with the fan of the hard disks? regards

  • love the case, but since i go to lanparties every now n then it wouldn't be safe

  • oo i could make that mini antec run like a wild boar!!

  • It looks very cool, but I got to agree with heybabbalola. An open case make no sense to me. I have two cats & when they're shedding there's cat hair everywhere. This case looks like it has all sorts of nooks & crannies that would gather dust & cat hair like mad. I think I'd go mad trying to keep the damn thing clean.

@12da6, too bad about the music. You gave credit & it got pulled anyway. A pox on censorship!

  • aswell dust it's dangerous if something touches it small kid's, parents, animals and insects could totally dry your system. whoever came up with this is a complete idiot :)

  • this motherboard gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H fits, and i have a cross fire x Radeon HD 4770 whit 2 hard drives and one solid state drive all this can fit in that case

  • Can anyone tell me if a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus cooler will fit in this "case"?

  • Isn't the point of a case to protect the components inside...

  • WHERE IS THE PRODIGY MUSIC, I LOVE PRODIGY!

nice case, you think Noctua U12 will fit in there?

  • i have this case and to be honest dust isn't that big a problem and anyways dust gathers in just about any case but this is super easy to clean out

  • i was worried about the protection too, but when i got one, i didnt find it an issue. you do have to be a wee bit careful with food and drinks though

  • poor "music"

  • U can thank you tubes censorship for that, they make you pick one of their contracted song if yours is copyrighted and disputed even if you give the name of the artist in the credits and in the more info section. If you notice in my credits the original song i had was by the group Prodigy.

  • @l2da6 While I agree that YouTube's policy is a little silly, I really don't understand why people feel music is required for every video anyway. People's taste in music is quite varied. For things like computer builds and case videos, I would rather hear a description from the person about the hardware as opposed to some music that I may or may not like.

With that in mind, nice video. The Skeleton is unique and brings with it some great temps. Not my cup of tea, but thanks for sharing.

  • you can get a mesh kit for this from Antec which I think would make it a bit better. But after buying the mesh at 60 sterlings and the skeleton itself at a ton you've laid out over 160 green queens.....hmmm not cheap

  • can someone tell me how the song is called?

  • All over me

    drowning pool

  • thanks :D

  • Comment removed

  • why just pics?

  • umm woops spilled my drink, NOOO THERE GOES MY i7 and my Video cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LAWL this case is for kids who want to look cool, it has nooooo benifits only drawbacks.

  • the cooling and pure ease of swapping hardware aren't pros then?

  • Don't drop ur drink then...

  • You´re damn right! But not only that, if you are going to a lan or something moisture outside can get in when you are taking it out of the car. Or if you drop it.

The design is good since it looks so easy to install components on it, if it only were covered when it would be a good case.

  • it's way easier to carry than a normal case for transportation... you can actually grab on with two hands. Out of the tens of Lan parties i've been too... I've yet to see someone drop their computer. and moisture? seriously... If it's in the air it's going to condense in your PC anyway if your PC is off and cool. A regular case is not airtight. The case keeps your components cooler. I run my cases with the door off and some laying on their sides since 2001 and I've never an issue.

  • True, but it does look stunning.

It's the equivalent of riding your motorbike nude at 100mph because if you come off the bike, say goodbye to Mr Peepee courtesy of roadrash extreme.

  • wow, nice case: one piece of paper and your motherboard is toast... waaaaaaaaaay to open for people who aren't careful enough!

  • ps. I am so buying this! So perfect for tech-heads who love to muck around with the stuff often!

  • nice case

  • dust dust dust dust dust dust dust dust dust dust

  • actually no. A regular case collects dust because it enters and has a harder time finding it's way out. I took the door of my case and laid it on the carpet open side up for a year and it is was way less dusty than my closed case. The fan keeps the dust from settling instead collecting dust bunnies everywhere. It's also easier to maintain regularly as you can shoot it with compressed air anytime and actually knock the dust out of the case instead of around the case.

  • @heybabbalola soda soda soda soda soda

  • @heybabbalola well, easy to clean ;)

  • WHAT NAME IS SONG??

  • All over me-Drowning Pool

  • i bet itll look great if the top fan speed was turned down really low about 300rpm so its its just slwly spinning there

  • i dont think so... my rat is motherboard hungry,

  • I like it, it sorta looks like a disco ready lawnmower. I plan on this case to house my next set of componants of my next computer.

  • it could be an excelent option for what I need for my karaoke dj bussines

  • I think I just found a case for my new PC

  • lol looks like a portable genartor :)

  • its gd for fashion but a normal case preforms better....

  • not really, the case doesn't leave the possibility to contain heat from nearby components, and also doesn't let dust settle so your components stay cleaner for a longer period of time, also the skeleton structure can be removed by means of only four screws to turn it into a benching table.

  • I just put one off these together for a friend. This case is pretty cool once you get it together. It would be a much better design if the giant fan on top was removable or flipped up for the purpose of adding/removing components. Once you get all of the front panel stuff plugged in you can't really slide the lower part of the unit out. Major PITA if you have to work on it after you get it together.

Once together it's quiet and cool looking with manual control of the LED's on the top fan.

  • yeah its kinda a cool idea..... oh wait, no no its not, my cat is an asshole lol

  • this would be a sweet case if all the gaps were filled with see through plastic so fuck all dust would get in. Either that or you'd want to be living in a clean room at a processor manufacturing plant!

  • if you use it everyday, the 250mm fan blows off the dust. I have one and it rarely get's dusty. Plus it's way easier to clean, all i use is compressed air and in 10 sec it's clean again.

  • Yea okay I believe that, but what about when it's turned off? I bet it gets pretty dusty!!

  • Yea. But that's when you get the compressed air out. Trust me, it's way easy to clean.

  • horrible idea.....no point in this whatsoever

  • obviously, this case isn't for everyone.

  • Unless you have kids or animals to get in the case... It's a great idea for a workbench or just a case that will keep your components super cool. My quad core is sitting at 18-21degrees Celsius right now on idle. All the reviews that actually did comparisons to other cases showed the skeleton able to keep components cooler than other closed or open air cases.

  • Check out my workstation setup with my Antec Skeleton case. I quite like it!

    geek2god(dot)com/2009/04/multi -screen-monitor-display-comput er-workstation-setup/

  • This is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. This thing is just asking for dust to come and fry your components. This might be useful as a testbed system, where parts are swapped out on a regular basis. But for everyday users, it's utterly pointless!

  • with thing thing, you do not have an electro magnetic shield..so you could have problems if you watch tv besides...

sorry for my bad englisch ^^

  • Btw, I feel so nude when i'm watching this video of that case. What if you sneeze?

  • I NEED 2 KNOW THE SONG

  • its drowning pool - sinner

  • errr my bad drowning pool - all over me

  • how about dust?

  • looks good but an awesome gimick

  • Have to agree man, all you need is just ants and flying insect and the MB or graphic is dead.

  • looks cool, but a waste of time and space.

  • this looks cool...for 30-50 bucks

  • its more like $150

  • i was saying that's what i'd pay for it. too expensive.

  • are you serious, gaming cases usually cost over 100, 30 - 50 is something you'd pay for a piece of crap

  • @siedpe13 i have a Coolermaster Elite 430 case that costs 60dollars.

    It can run crysis.

  • @wowspare your case does not run crysis, whats inside of it is what runs it,

  • actually second on that, I WOULD use this for testing purposes only, not so much for a real production system.

  • i bought a cube computer once with college money several years ago (though I refunded it soon after). this would've been a better case for me considering I like antec products.

  • someone tell me why theres 2?

a little one and a big one?

    are they diff sizes?

  • ones for standard size atx board and the other is for micro atx boards.

  • No big for atx/matx little for Itx

  • it would be nice if it cost like £30 and not over £100

  • everything would be better cheaper.

  • hmm - true...

but honestly, would you pay over a 100 for this?

i got my eyes on a coolermaster cosmos s for my i7 build!!!

  • for me actually i would, i do alot of bench test's and for open air cooling applications and watercooling this would be perfect, i know a person who just left some screws out for the design cage and that allowed him to detach it easily to get to everything without sliding the board tray out. that is big if i wanted to put a copper freeze pot on it for some dry ice or ln2.

  • Watercooling????????????

    250mm fan anyone?

  • Very bad for protection, and holding sound in... Not to mention the looks :P

  • looks more like a bridge...

A bridge is a structure built to span a gorge, valley, road, railroad track, river, body of water, or any other physical obstacle, for the purpose of providing passage over the obstacle.

  • Thats very cool for overcloking.

  • this would be a nice case for testing pc's on

  • I was going to get this actually... then I was thinking... if someone spills a drink... bumps into it... spits while talking onto the wrong part of it... and then I didn't get it haha.

  • haha and that would mean no more beer or crisps while playing lmao

  • For me it would have been ok a case to be open like that NOT i would really like that 'IF' it had glass inside the stubs like the form with glass or plastic that protects

  • bad case for protecting

  • Whats the name of this song? thx 4 answer

  • "Smack my bitch up" By Prodigy

  • thx

  • @l2da6 I loled

  • I thought "cases" were supposed to protect the "inside" .

Now they say: want good airflow? might as well hang all components outside of a window on dry windy days...

Nice concept though, but... thinking "outside the box" doesn't necessarily mean putting everything outside... the box...

  • This case has good airflow...what's wrong with that? Also, cases are designed to hold all the parts, not "protect" it, what would you be protecting it from

  • ... myself :D (and other stuff I might drop on/in it.

But as I said, nice concept... eventhough they could've brought up something alike many many years ago...

it's a nice gadget though, nonetheless...

But I just like my stereotypical case with lots of space to put more n more stuff in...

  • Since it's an open case.. doesn't it ruin the airflow?

  • Great case but personally i wouldn't go for a white cd drive with that :-) But that's just a matter of taste afcourse.

    Great case concept!

  • i have one

  • how do you like it?

  • looks cool but like someone else mentioned, the quick-release function doesn't work as it should. More importantly though, you can only use stock CPU coolers with this "case".

One hell of an oversight considering this is aimed at overclockers.

  • Wow, thats a great point... I guess a water block would fit though?!?!

  • lolz.. not my type easily gets dusty inside.. mobo and other peripherals are exposed to dust.. phail for me..

  • yeah i agree that it gets too dusty one day with this case fans will stop working because the "wall of dust" will stop it spinning and my system would get fucked if i would drop a juice on it i will stick to my armor jr. :P

  • It's bigger then I thought. Looks smaller on the pictures

  • And then my dog walked over and Wee'ed!

  • must get dusty

  • i saw that "case" in the store today and i was like... WTF???

    -lorenzo

  • THE PRODIGY!!!! :D

  • looks cool to me

  • Dezontk

what was next to it ? a baby one ?

Probably one that fits a mATX board..

  • ya it is.

  • what was next to it ? a baby one ?

  • not a good idea

  • i have a feeling that antec is going to loose out on some money on this one just imagen having a cold and you know them sneeze's YOU KNOW the ones where boogerz fly well imagen not thinking and blowing some snott on there shorting something out or whatever

  • LOL!

  • omg that is hilarious!!

  • Can't have something like that in my house with seven cats; it would be fried within ten seconds of turning the completed system on.

  • kids arent allowed in my room

  • i wouldn't risk having an open case..

  • Does anyone know if the Atx one supports Micro Atx motherboards? thanks.

  • yep, its on new egg right now. $180, not to bad considering its a case and a work of art.

  • Anyone here own one of these yet? If so,Did you have any problem with the "Quick Release"?

I found both optical & Hard drives had to be secured by screws as my quick release does'nt serve its intented purpose....basically it's non-functional.

I found its much more silent than my Thermaltake Armor tower.

The only issue I have with this enclosure is its quick release...apart from that, its great!

  • i could so see a moth flying into my graphics card if i had a case like this in my bedroom !

  • WHEN does it come out whats the price and whats this song called

  • its 179 on newegg and its out and the song is smack my bitch up

  • I disagree with this product on the grounds of safety. A young child say a brother or a sister can easily put their hand in and get a nasty shock and at the same time, fucking up your computer with the short circuit. Engage you're brain before deeming this an innovation.

  • This case is specifically made for people who are going to have the ideal enviroment and use for it. Kids, pets and other hazards should be taken into consideration.

  • I applaud this innovation.

  • There shouldn't be any liquid near a computer in the first place. If you spill water on an enclosed case you could still screw up your computer. Who says your computer hardware has to be in an enclosed case? Looks like you got ripped off with your schooling.

  • Yeah,I agree...

With spelling like that , I'd say he was ripped off something major!

  • i want the mini skull!!!!!

  • To all those people commenting on dust. Dust is everywhere, when was the last time you checked inside your case? Components in an enclosed case will collect more dust than an open case. If you have filters when was the last time you checked / cleaned them? If they're filthy then your air flow is compromised.

  • I agree, open and enclosed cases both have intake fans which will draw in dust so cleaning is just part of maintaining a cool running PC.

  • Just as much dust in a "open case" as their is in a closed case. As for wter spills dont put drinks on your PC? And erm ever heard of "water cooling" quite a few of us have alot of liquid inside our case on purpose lol.

  • I think you'd find dust in a case , seeing it has nowhere else to go

  • Thank you Antec for making finally a real Overclocker Case!!!

  • That looks awesome

  • talk about a dusty motherboard?

  • i want one now!!!!

  • talk about easy acses

  • It would be good for a testing platform.

  • i want one of them!!!!!!!!!! that is wicked sweet!

  • Yup.

  • thats an amazing case. I would get that thing if i were doing some serious ocing.

  • Hell yeah!

  • this is madness!!!!!

  • Totally.

  • Madness? No. This is SPARTA!!!!

  • looks like i found a new case!! lol

  • I still dont know how much their gonna sell it for but its on my list for sure.

  • lol that thing is awesome

  • Its definitely something out of a sci-fi movie. Looks cool and definitely total bragging rights to those who will own it.

  • Were do i get one :D lol

  • Not sure if you can only get it from Antec when it comes out or if they gonna let other vendors sell it like Newegg etc.

  • Great, I would like one :)

  • Once Antec puts it on the market its going to be a huge success.
