Those days when i worked 4 Club Agencies in Bul,Zim. I remember my colleuges used 2 love dis song, Freddy,Lucky and Peter when we used 2 to go to Big bar and Zambesi night club.
Makes me think about old days when our father work on street holding a tape player on his shoulder and we will dance on the street,And we used to have fun.....
this is called making a brand of your own. Freddie branded his songs on jail experiences though i don't know where he got such experience, but i guess is because black Males use to visit jails quite often during apartheid era for unreasonable crimes like not having a pass in your possession. so. maybe he was jailed before, no wonder his songs appeal to inmates.
He is saying oh sergeant forgive, forgive me please. I did not mean to kill him, i only meant to frighten a little. oh mother and father forgive me. look at him he is dead now, nothing i can do to bring him back. I hate myself myself.
The song goes like this: --- Sergeant forgive me. I didn't mean to kill him. I was just trying to scare him. [chorus] He's dead! He died painfully, with a gun [/chorus] --- Then he repeats himself asking for forgiveness from the dead person's mother and father and he adds that he's remorseful (Ngiyazisola). Most of this guy's song involves criminal activity and jail, maybe he's been there already!
I really love this guy! Sometimes when I am just not myself...I listen to Freddie's, and I feel good. Write me your contacts and I am gonna hook up up, big bucks.
