  • both my camelbak's leak really badly at the joint from the bladder to hose!

  • all i needed to convince me to buy a camelbak hydration bladder is in this video. nice work guys :-)

  • when the blader was fillling up with air did anyone else get scared?!?!?

  • @neckindaho93 me!

  • @neckindaho93 covered my ears haha

  • Very cool video and very informative and interesting.

  • very nice. I plan on buying your camelbak motherload 500 pack for my bug out bag

  • camelbak your going to be my new hydration pack once am done with my outdoor products pack dont get me wrong outdoor products pack gets the job done but camelbak is way better. if only i had the money i could have bought one ;/

  • you said we take things seriously but u said u wanted to play with the resivor like a meat ball

  • can i fill it with vodka ?

  • @nasseralansari1 yes you can, thats what i do when i go snowbording

  • damn that pop scared me

  • I have a few Camelbaks that I like a lot. I just purchased a Geigerrig and it is definitively a better buy. It is pressurized so I can pull water from the stream and it forces it through the in line water filter. Sucking on the bite valve of a camelbak to get water though a filter is not fun.

  • @teninchpavers actually it's a 16 bar loop, but who's counting ;oP

  • The notion that the "Better Bottle"is field tested is ridiculous. Try it yourself: Take a lap around the block, then when you are out of breath try to suck some water through the straw. You can't. It's like drinking out of a eyedropper. It's shameful that a product like this goes to market with such a completely flawed design. Somebody at Camebak dropped the ball.

  • @lkeibkele You're biting too hard. You're opening the seal by biting but if you close your teeth too much you create an artificial seal halfway in the bite valve. The better bottle is one of my favorite products by them, and I've never had this problem, but I learned how to use the bite valve on their other products so I didn't have that issue going in.

  • DO NOT buy a Camelbak "Better Bottle". The hole for the water is TOO SMALL it is like trying to suck water through a pin hole. When you are out of breath and you need water the bottle is unusable. I contacted Camelbak and they said they will send me a new lid...... lets see if they do and if it is any better. The problem is NOT that air cannot get into the bottle I unscrewed the lid and I still could not suck water through the straw. The hole in the lid is too small.

  • @teninchpavers NES music ftw sounds like california games

  • I bought my first one yesterday and I LOVE it! It's the Camelbak Cloudwalker! Perfect for me!

  • So what is the best one?

  • @Juliasofun I have the Camelbak ThermoBak excellent quality....

  • love the part at 3:20 it keeps going and going and going

  • the older pale blue bladders were better than the new darker blue bladders. THe new ones make the fluid taste of plastic from the first use. the old ones did not do this. go back to the pale blue ones

  • Who else was squiting while the bladder was filling with air?

  • thats why there so expensive they have to cover the cost of blowing them up lol still I very good product.

  • Best god damn watter bottles ever. I'll suck that nipple all day.

  • worth the money, the only packs that last. I have had several and the CB's outlast all others.

  • Wow, that reservoir got HUGE, I got a little nervous just watching it inflate here at home.

  • Camelbak is kinda expensive, but I bought the podium chilljacket™ bottle and it is definitely worth it. It is military grade material and it keeps my water cool. It's pretty neat because it has a lock for the valve and water doesn't spill out when it's unlocked.

  • MADE IN JAPAN ~!!!!

  • This is awesome. So much so that I've just purchased a 3L Thermobak.

  • THIS is why CamelBak is THE hydration system for the U.S. military.

  • Did anyone else close their eyes slightly when it was filling up with air? As if it was going to burst in my face. lol

  • @TheMassAnnoyance yes xD :O

  • Wow! The air test was very impressive. No wonder I'll only go Camelbak.

  • I totally agree with his ending statements, I'll go through a bladder every 4 miles when rucking, I can go without food, but If my bladder fails me, then I am up the the crap creek without a paddle. Hydrate or die is the truth

  • My camel bak gas been sitting around for a while and I need 2 clean it and I was wondering how do u clean the tube part

  • if you haven't already found out, you can buy a camelbak cleaning kit, it comes with 2 different brushes one for the reservoir the other is for the tube and it really helps. it also comes with some cleaning tablets to drop inside your camelbak to throughly clean it. I'm speaking from first hand experience.

  • I don't own one but your best shot is to use a LITTLE bit of soap, really a little bit and just put run like 200OZ of water through it (tap water does just fine). It doesn't get dirty/plluted when lying in your closet. It just gets a little bit dusty!

  • i just got a camelbak water bottle thats insulated lightweight and soft so it fits in back and even my pockets. its cool because you turn this thing on the top to make water come out. its kind of like a lock

  • I've got the camelbak h.a.w.g max gear and I absolutely love it. Its beautiful and functions perfectly. I'd bet my life on it

  • How do u use the big bite valve? do you puncture it with your teeth our something

  • Just bite it softly while sucking on it. Sounds kinda dirty, but just try that.

  • lmao

  • @moderndaynorseman thats what ur mom does

  • @kse6063

    How old are you, 12?

  • make sure you have the valve in the on position... i don;t mean to patronise but i have seen it done. if you are having trouble drawing fluids, ensure that the hose is not bent too sharply. at no such time should you puncture your big bite valve.

  • Hey, my bite vavle is loose on my thermobak any tips?

  • If its the black part, you can just wiggle it back down.

  • yeah, but it is still a bit loose...

  • That was cool!

  • I just got may CamelBak Unbootle yesterday. First impression, it does look ugly. But, it does serve what I want in a hydration systems. The only reason it look ugly, IMHO, it was build by an engineer. CamelBak is ugly first time when I saw Ewan McGregor use one in his motorcycle adventure to South Africa. It still ugly when I bought one.

  • I would like to see a full video review on the Talon. Im looking for a good bag for my new B.O.B. and I think the Talon is the right size.

  • how do you clean the mold out of the tube

  • Buy a cleaning kit

  • I use denture cleaners. Essentially the same thing as camelbak cleaning tablets. Leaves your bag smelling minty as well.

If theres a lot of mould. Fill it with a hot solution of bleach and lemon juice. Let it sit over night and rinse it out.

  • He mentions there's no industry standard for hydration systems..I'd have guessed Camelbak products ARE the standard?

All other companies seem to mimic them but you really don't get better build quality from them.

  • Camelbak is quality stuff guys. I highly recommend this stuff.

I use it for motorcycle racing, hiking, and anywhere i basically need water

  • And I was worried that I might burst the bladder when I forget my cambak is on and do a dive roll.... I think it'll be fine after seeing that.

  • Great!
