If I remember correctly, the Hachi storyline was pretty similar to the one in the manga and anime so I don't exactly understand what you guys don't like about it.
I don't blame aoi declining, and the actor who played ren also - Nana 2 angered me a little, I sort of wish I never watched it because of the storyline with Hachi, I got so angry about that >.< Takumi got me so angry
