I like to stall and drag the bow very very slowly leaning heavily on it - grating through some of those patches adds in another percussive dimension :)
Thanks! The tuba effect is fun. It's really weird hearing that low sound coming from a high pitched violin. I'm using an inexpensive Flip camera. I wonder if a higher quality camcorder would transfer better sound...

Awesome! The tuba effect sounds uncannily like a real tuba accompaniment. I wish I could hear it without the youtube sound distortion.
