The strengths of this version are certainly the chorus effect on the bass, and the ending on this one is obviously more impactful than the original. Deliciously silly squeals of the celibate banshee as well lol.
The Smiths only played in Holland once and I was there. But the only thing I can remember clearly is that Morrissey had a bunch of tulips sticking out of his back trouser pocket, man it is about a quarter of a century ago!
@AfanofTheSundays: You had the luck and privilege of seeing them on stage. They only played for Europe (not sure if only once in the U.S). Morrissey seems to be even a living legend.
