Yeah! do you know why Dave Murray is underated? Because he is not James Hetfiled or Slash or whatever... Anyone can play adrians simple lines. jan is just filler. and what was bruce like the 3rd or 4th vocalist? bruce is defineatly replaceable, and then maidens tired sound could go in a new direction. Do you play guitar? if you do then you know that adrians lines are not that simple.

Dave is definitively my personnal favorite guitarist. For about 3 years now, I'm still trying to get the kinda same sound as him wich is almost impossible. His pick-up configuration and the number of time he switches them between solo and stuff is just unbelievable. I've been watching vids of him for so long and it blows me away. I love him, I love him, he inspired me playing guitar and as a gift he gave me a pick and a sweatbam at a Maiden show.

All good solos. I love Maiden. If you notice Pre-Gers Maiden, Murray's solos were more melodic. Smith's solos, never change, a wildman. Gers is more fast and sloppy but in a good way, more crazy. I have to admit, old Maiden rules and as for the better guitar player... it depends on the type of solos you like. If you like new metal, Gers. If you like melodic that makes sense, Murray. And if you like plain metal solos, Smith. Iron Maiden will always RULE!!!
