I arrived home and I went to find a hammer. When I found it I opened my closet and started beating with the hammer on it! My dad asked: "What are you doing?!"

I am of the opinion that C.S. Lewis' best works were not the Narnia chronicles.
I read them when I was younger, but rereading them now, I find them to be haphazardly written. The story is beautiful and the characters are interesting, but it seemed boring.
Excepting the beautiful soundtrack, the movies weren't much better.
And I don't recall any sort of romance between Prince Caspian and Susan, which was very confusing.

@forgivn70x7 I know a place close to where i live, tht is as close to narnia as a human can get in this world, (unfortuneately) theres waterfalls, wolves, foxes, horses, deer, etc. it's beautiful. if you walk out there your in an entire new world. I think people should go there for fascenation and exploring a different world untouched.

Delusions are the people that still think magic exists, or that there's a God in the sky. The problem with allowing the delusion is that it interrupts normal life. That is, if you handle it the wrong way.

I wonder, does anyone feel like Narnia is their destination? Like you have lived in a place familiar. Once a King or Queen in Narnia, always a King or Queen in Narnia. Can I get an Amen?

Thought it was an anti-cliché...
I don't know they are suddenly all dead and susan isn't interested in it anymore... I thought the story wasnt as good as the rest either...
It just doesn't fit the magical beautiness of the other books. At least, that's what I think.

oh. Try reading it again, and see if there's a copy in your native language (first language) available. They did die, but they were in Narnia, the real Narnia, which they had only seen a mirror image of, not the real thing. I need to slap myself. I hope I'm not ruining this for anyone!!

I am of the opinion that C.S. Lewis' best works were not the Narnia chronicles.
I read them when I was younger, but rereading them now, I find them to be haphazardly written. The story is beautiful and the characters are interesting, but it seemed boring.
Excepting the beautiful soundtrack, the movies weren't much better.
And I don't recall any sort of romance between Prince Caspian and Susan, which was very confusing.

@forgivn70x7 I know a place close to where i live, tht is as close to narnia as a human can get in this world, (unfortuneately) theres waterfalls, wolves, foxes, horses, deer, etc. it's beautiful. if you walk out there your in an entire new world. I think people should go there for fascenation and exploring a different world untouched.

Reality is not in the mind. You simply observe reality with the mind. If you fall into the delusion that these places exist, you'll begin to fail keeping reality and Narnia separate from one another. That's where delusions come into. And it never ends well. Look at religion.

@SoulSaneAngelis Touche! You only forget about something: we don t know WHAT is reality... Our sences let us know many things that are around us, but they re not strong at all. There can be hundreds and hundreds of things that we cannot see, touch, etc... Again, reality is in mind, if you see it that way...

We know what reality is. You're not allowed to get philosophical on me! Reality will be defined as the common, normal perception of the world that the majority of people have. Delusions are the people that still think magic exists, or that there's a God in the sky. The problem with allowing the delusion is that it interrupts normal life. That is, if you handle it the wrong way.

@SoulSaneAngelis Ok, ok! That s what I was meaning! I only say that those kind of "things" are as possible as impossible to exist. There can be things that we don t see, or feel. And the fact of seeing them through mind can mean too many things, but it doesn t have to be "it doesn t exist!". The bad thing, is when people get a bad use of their imagination with other people, or start to mix THEIR world with the "real" world. That s my humble opinion, you can see it the way you want...
