  • Terrific video. This is a great service to us guys out here. Thanks.

  • @joesphx19 Great. I am glad it helped.

  • hey finished doing this carb and it works fined but the choke is not working i have to spray starter fluid to get it started aftr that it runs fine what did i overlook

  • @allen9258 ......@5:45 in the video 1 of 2 you will see me describing the 2 passages at the front. make sure these are clean.

  • Leeboy, if your crankcase filled up with gas there is a vent tube for the crankcase that goes into the back of the air cleaner, (a poor man's PCV valve) did you accidentally spray or pour gas into this tube?

  • GREAT JOB!!! VERY CLEAR DIRECTIONS AND VIDEO!!!

  • Im sure glad i found this video....Before i attempt the rebuild, i myself have a little fuel up around the air cleaner. But, also, my crankcase filled up with gas some how. Any ideas on whats wrong before i tear it apart? Great Video

  • i like this video. but only problem that i have fuel coming out from air filter. is there anything that i missed. how can i solve this problem?

  • @911aminul .... You have a leaking needle/seat. you can try cleaning them or buy new ones.

  • Finished the carburetor rebuild. Your video was very helpful and the job was a success. Many thanks!

  • @K2BDX .........GREAT

  • Great video, very complete. I'm halfway through the job and your explanation will make it much easier.

  • Great video! I had cleaned ( or attempted to ) the carb a few days ago.. it would not idle without 3/4 choke. I cleaned the main jet but didn't know about the venturi.. it was very stuck up in there. I had to push it down from the throat and then tighten the Main jet several times while applying carb cleaner.. it finally came out.. also the bent spray tube thing.. I just put it back together and it runs like new!

    Thank you so VERY much!!!

  • This did it, went from not running at all to running great. THANKS!!!!

Also the wire trick, has to be 0.010" or so, the 1st wire I tried was 0.016 and wouldn't fit.

    GREAT STUFF

  • Followed your vid and all went well. Honda is back to normal, many thanks.

  • @TerryToon17 ....... GREAT!!!

  • Dang your video rocks, i acutally did it! I took it apart, right..the only thing is that some of the gasket came apart but i tried to put them back used some blue high heat silicone. but any ways, it came on, on the first pull, the only thing now is that it cant seem to idle it goes up and down but under pressure it work fine. Maybe spark plug? thanks man! Maybe i need go back and do it again? only if u think that it sputters due to the gaskets being torn.

  • @salazar78 ........ Your main jet is still a little blocked. Not a huge deal if the engine is working for you.

  • i am going to make it this weekends project, i am mechanically challenged, but i am going to go for it. I am going to reference ur tube vid and take a hack at it!!! thanks man!!!

  • @salazar78 ............Great! just remember what you pull off where and you'll be good.

  • @sixtyfiveford Thanks a bunch, I followed your excellent video and was able to remove carb, clean most of the ports and get it back on the engine block? However, I still cann't get it to start. The spark is ok. SHould I give the carb an overnight soak? Wher do I go from here? Mike

  • @sixtyfiveford Thanks a lot. WIll you answer questions? Mike in Charleston wv

  • Well after a few months of not using it i decided i was going to need it.. well 1st i could not get it to fire up for about an hour. then i finally got it right....well it starts on choke now, very rough and cannot put it out of choke because it will shut off. I replaced the spark plug. another thing is i bought it out of box with no book or nothing so not sure how much oil to put in it.?? or if running it with too much oil may have ruined it?

  • @salazar78 .... Oil: it will hold about a quart. It is very hard to do an extreme overfill of the oil to ruin it as it will flow out the fill tube before you can do it. ONLY running on choke is a sure sign of a clogged main jet in the carb. You definitely need to clean the carb.

  • great stuff man! wonder if you can help me figure out what is wrong with my pressure washer?

  • @salazar78 .....What's it doing?

  • Thanks, very usefull video. I will rebuilt my carb. Tomorrow using your tech.
