  • i keep getting told to always lift with proper form.. but then i see guys like this with huge arms lifting lazily and swinging the weight up. im confused

  • Hi Dan, Just to clarify this is not a video of an actual workout nor is it meant to be instructional. As to your general comment regarding the use of momentum on a curl, most top bodybuilders I'm aware of perform both strict form lighter sets as well as heavy sets utilizing momentum to allow maximum stress to be placed on the muscle at the strongest point of the range of motion.

  • oooh right, ok, thanks :)

  • While use of momentum in workouts to increase intensity is generally not discussed in keneisiology books or by those whose foremost concern in safety, experience has shown most top bodybuilders that placing the maximum amount of weight on the muscle is useful for building mass.

  • Keep in mind that the top iron athletes you are watching are going to extremes to take things to the next level and that before trying some of those techniques, you should have built a good foundation by fully conditioning all the major muscle groups.

  • nice

  • Hi Asadie, Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it.
