Hi, I was going to buy a CYMA AK-47 CMO42. I haven't found much info on this series. I am a guitarist. companies give their products numbers. each edition in their production & series have improved based with their success in sales originally. perhaps owners of the original will buy each new edition or it will attract a 1st time buyer. The numbers reflect the timeline. I hope if you can compare CMO42 & CMO48 simply without details, so I have an idea which to buy. cost isn't a concern quality is

These things are shooting WAY too hot for most fields. Just thought I'd point that out and to say that FPS isn't everything.

@Jaws2blood1 I know that you can buy replacement springs, or shorten the stock springs to lower the FPS. The point I was making was that a lot of companies like to "boast" about how hot their weapons are shooting to try to get customers attention, while the more avid and experienced players, such as myself, know that FPS doesn't matter and it's better to have a weapon shoot sub 400fps than it is to have one shooting hotter than 400.

@BlackHawk407 i feel the same way. Personally, i think accuracy, looks, and reliability should come before stopping power. Especially if it's a brand popular with CQB players

Covers not only both sides of the real life conflict but also the full spectrum of quality. I'll be getting a King Arms galil soon. One day i want to get a CM048 as well. its like betting on both sides of the boxing match. I'll laugh all the way to the airsoft field.

@Gerard785 it comes w/ a Hicap Magazine. You need to wind up the magazine. There's a wheel at the bottom of the mag that you spin/turn once the mag us full of Bb's. You'll feel & hear the tension on the coil. Keep on winding until the magazine clicks.

I have a problem with the CM 048S: I put the magazine full with bb's, buy when I start firing, It only make the sound buy doesn't throw any bullet! I look over and over If there is a problem with he product or the way that I install the load in the weapon, everything perfect, but the shit doesn' shoot, only make sound.

Please help me, I'm just a noob in the airsoft world.

@rachfordtd Every airsoft rifle designed has a brass barrel, The gears are decent, but they dont tell you about the poor quality control, cheap piston and piston head, bad compression, bad wiring, cheap hop up bucking, cheap hop up nub, not to mention the barrels bore is 6.08 or higher, Also all of this runs on a M130 spring giving the gun a short life, Trust me, I own one.

@alvesdaniel85 I will use 0.25g and 0.28g :))) very good accuracy with them and still powerful specially with the 0.25g. The gun is FUCKING awesome CM048. i have it now. Its so nicE!

what do i have to buy to down grade the fps because i dont want it higher than 420 fps cant have fun with that hard of a shot were i play need to be atleast 50 feet back on guns 420 fps and higher

@bobzmon You could get a weaker spring, I'm not sure wich spring comes with the gun but you could try a M120 or M100

on my ak 74 (standard, no folding stock, etc.) the magazine it came with doesn't click into place, or even go in smoothly. Could someone give me a link for a high cap magazine that will definitely work for this gun. Please try to find one less than $25.

@CrossArmsAirsoftTeam watch the video the guy uses lipo or trys it out. it will handle but puts more wear nad tear. he says its totally worth it.
