Something is wrong with my hdtv, it has red "fuzz" all over the bottom and top most of the time, sometimes it disappears, but it always comes back right away and is super annoying. It makes the picture look so bad and it's suppose to be 1080p crystal clear and clean. :(

this is because of a bad connection. i dont know if the same thing happens hdmi but i definitely know that a bad dvi connection can cause red snow across parts of the screen and it is interactive. this was on my monitor and they wiuld all move around whenever things moved. so check your connection.

@Jombo23MC hmmmm I wonder if it is the actual HDMI cord that is causing this? I got two different HDMI cords and I tried both of them. The red fuzzy snow is still there. Maybe both are lame? They're not high priced ones.

Does this really NEED to be in 1080p? I didn't notice any difference between 240p and 1080p. It's all solid colors flashing. The pixels next to each other don't differ to show a quality difference!

the only way to fix a dead pixel is to put pressure on the screen not to much and lightly rub it when your useing the video it helps a little

@zzboy27 put pressure on it with your thumb, hold the pressure there and turn off your monitor, now turn on the monitor while still holding the pressure there. There is a small chance that this can fix black pixels. Do not push to hard though.

people make sure you turn your brightness all the way down. this pixel exercise will stress out the lamp, pretty hardcore on an LCD monitor.

Dude, I think this helped me. My laptop had this green line running from the top of my screen, through the youtube video, all the way to the bottom. The line would sometimes flash and go away and come back.

I played this video for a few minutes in full screen, and it seems to have helped.

If it is Red, Green, Or Blue, then it is stuck and CAN be fixed

@wtchluring yes, white pixels should be fixable because its R + G + B. LivesForJihad is wrong. I had a white pixel before and i fixed that for like 7 days straight and it worked after that. It's impossible to make Black with RGB so that is an "inactive" pixel or as known as "dead" if it dont change colour.

(Tip: I might be wrong since im 14 but that's my observations)

@granturismoMiguel Na I think your right, any color pixel is when it has got stuck like you said. I guess you could get stuck on black so maybe you could fix some black pixels :\? More often than not though a black pixel would be caused by the signal just not getting to the area, for what ever reason.

@Nik3AllSt4r Yeah, pour a glass of ice water with 3 drops of pure lemon juice on your monitor. 3 cups ice water for every 3 drops of pure lemon juice. Really work it in there, and pour it in the vents in the back of the monitor as well. Hope this helps you man.
