Plateaus and Weight Discrimination

I have gone through what you have been through. Although, here in the states, people can sue for anything, so even if we have a law that says an employer can hire and fire at will for any reason, they make up reasons to avoid lawsuits... like "poor customer service" or "you don't know the job well enough" when you actually do. Just to fire you because they don't like you for whatever reason. For me.... usually cuz I'm fat.

yea at my job i found out that one of my managers dave talked shit about me behind my back and he was saying how big i got and if knew i was that big he wouldnt of hired me that ass like hes gossiping like a little bitch on how fat i got i mean hello asshole go stock something please yea i was pissed i know how u feel.

hello- love your videos !! I was wondering if you did any type of exercise. I don't recall you mentioning your exercise routine? Sorry - I didn't want to just assume -and wonder if that has anything to do with your 3 month plateau? I am 5 weeks post op and I know I don't eat enough ( just not hungry) and am already jogging 2 miles 2-3 times a week like I am concerned with failing.. maybe I over do it.. but I was just wondering if your worked out, swimming, walking ? Do you have copies of your yearly reviews? (assuming you had them).

I would contact HR and or an atty about this. It is very hard to prove however if you have great reviews, they have nothing to stand on.

about the job you will find a better one, but if you want to you could do something about it. about the weight try to shock your body, do something different, eat different. things will get better, there are alot of a-holes is this world but don't you let that put you down cuz what comes around goes around, take care

Fat prejudice is very real.I almost was involved in an altercation standing in line in the box office at the movie theater. This guy(with his child in tow)makes a remark about my wife.I got in his face and looked down at the kid and decided the kid was more important than anything else.I thought better and walked away.I guarantee you I would have wound up in jail.Some people are just assholes..don't sweat it..prolly better off working for a company that doesn't hire people like him anyway. peace

Wow, you really had a rough time, one thing after another. I'm fimilar with Telus. What an as*! I would have cried, too. That would have been all I could handle. Blacklisting based on apperance is BS! Is there anything you can do, or is that just it?
