The USA? hell anyone of our states (count New England as one state) could host the world cup. Hell, the state of Alabama has two 80,000+ seat stadiums. Between the MLS, NFL and college athletics, we have better sports facilities than the entire world.

Not better than the European stadiums or the Latin American ones or even the one in South Korea you must be joking, until you've been to Camp Nou or Bernabeu in Spain or The Aztek Stadium in Mexico you have never seen a better sport facilities than that. Take it to the bank. the Aztek stadium is larger than any stadium in the U.S. so is the Maracana in Brazil..those are REAL stadiums

they will make the w c in the US cuz theyll sell out. like last time and after a wc mls attandance would rise 20 to 30%. Theirs a lot of people from all over the world in the us so many people would be able to see their home country play

But the thing that can stop that from happening is the fact the US has a crappy transportation system. ill suck to go from LA to NY. most host are small in size the US is huge and air plane tickes are to expensive. And don't get me started on air ports.

I'd like the high speed public transportation, but in our nation it's just not practical. We are too spread out. As you said, we are too big.
