I have never watched this show, but now I definitely want to!! Is it still on the air? Is there no conclusion for these two? Did they ever show him finding her in NY (whatever that means :))? I hate getting invested in characters and then having their story just end with no closure!

Yes, it is. But now (with the 3rd season) they changed the cast..

On the season finale of season 2, Sid went to find Cassie in New York, because she had ran away. The season ended, and we don't know if Sid ever found her in New York city :/
