I enjoyed looking at your pics I was born in Whitenaven another port that had a lot of fishing boats in years long gone now Sad isnt it the trawler men had a hard life Thank you for your video especially as ROY ORBISON is my favorite singer xx

@marchgirly08hi there mg, yes sad indeed and sadder still are the people that just stole a six-foot high statue dedicated to the memory of the thousands of fishermen from the city who have died at sea over the past 100 years,The bronze monument sculpted in the shape of a lone male figure weighs about 300 kilogramms or over 20 stones and stood on a large plinth,police think it may have been taken because the thieves believe it has "SCRAP" metal value. tut tut, tx for watchin & your comment tc
