  • Why destroy it!?!?!?!? It's a fine collection of classic Soviet cars here!!!

  • Because the factory hasn`t been working since 2002 year. Old buildings of plant are in dangerous condition.

  • Some of them look like Opel's...??

    But the car at 1:10 is interesting - it's a 4x4!!!

    Very nice video :-)

  • 410 and 411 were 4x4

Moskvich-400 at 1:00 was Opel Kadett replica but early KIM-1050at 0:54 and KIM-1052 was absolutely different cars from opel though look like it.

Stalin once had looked at KIM-1050 and told what it is not good car because it has only two doors. Soon after that was WW2. When war was finished edngineers had axed: "what car we'll do? we've new KIM-1052" but Stalin answered: "We hawe nice Opel now, do it".

Really Kadett was not much better than KIM.

  • @v1rtualguy Design of Moscvich 407 was borrowed from cars like "Simca Aronde 1300(1957y.), Opel Record (1959) and Hillman Minx Series III (1960)

  • @MrIvanko1990 thx for the info =)

  • I visited this museum in 2001, and wrote my very first article about it.

I returned there eight years later, in March 2009, and was shocked: the museum was totally empty. Even the guards in the neighboring building could not say what had happened to the cars. Very sad...

  • @RUSRETRO

"Иваны родства не помнящие". Больше нечего сказать...

  • They close becaurse in Russia was big corruption and director of ihis factory was not patriot of his business =(((

*(i know it, i leave near this factory on Moscow-Ryazanski Prospect)

  • Koneshna byl, on nazivalsia 423 H.

  • Why did they close?

  • Bancrupt

  • Thank you for posting. A glimpse of the museum, which I would never have seen otherwise. :o)# from The Netherlands.

  • Beatiful cars.

  • Yes, they were beautiful

  • Yes, AZLK made good and safe cas for their time.

    I have a Moskvich-2141:)

  • Cool AZLKs unlike Ladas were great cars for their time. They were reliable and could drive in any environment. But they are most infamous for their durability. One Moskvitch can last up to 50 years. While a modern BMW will collapse in just 10.

  • This was a museum of AZLK plant. Not a museum of oldtimers. Moskvich wasn`t a car for rich people, so it wasn`t comfortable and etc, but quality was good. In 1970-s Moskvich was a car with good safety in Europe

  • Idiot, they are new not restored.

  • Rubbish is in the eye of the beholder.

In my eyes they are verry charming, but in my eyes AMC pacer and gremlin, lada, wartburg, reliant 3 wheelers are also charming :)

  • Yes, of course:)

  • first car of this factory?

  • What do you mean across first car factory?

  • i don`t understand you

  • what we see here is american car projects stolen by russian

  • Only one model: Kim 10-50. And it wasn`t stolen at all, there are some parts of Opel Kadett. Learn history.

  • Great soviet cars! Made up whit strong labour and a great working determination: they are really beautiful and fantastic. I have a Lada Niva (my all day car), a UAZ and a GAZ 69: simply the best!

  • :))

  • Oh, it`s a good idea. Thank you for your kindnss! Nevertheless i understand it by hearing.

  • Not difficult, but sometimes transcription is difficult to understand

  • sorry, no:) a bit Ukrainian only;)

  • cool;)

  • Thank you:) Enjoy video:) I have a car - it`s a Moskvich 2141:)

  • can you translate it in English?:)

  • What is the classical music? Who is the composer, please?

  • soundtrack

1 song is a song from the movie Caucasian captive "kavkazskaja plennitza"

2 song is the waltz to the film "Be careful of the car" "Beregis avtomobilya@

  • And KAMAZ! The Best Trucs!(winners at rally Paris-Dakar, all times!)

  • yes!

  • Yes of course! So you understood this joke:) I have a AZLK-2141:)

  • Viva Moskvich, Volga, Lada, Chaika, Zil, Maz, Kraz, Ural, Uaz, Belaz! Viva Soviet Cars!

  • Viva viva Kosmich!:)

  • "He-He, in Russia we call by this word cars "Moskvich". It`s a joke name, because first part "KOSM"of the word means first part of the word "Kosmos": in English it means space. So by this word we joke, that russian Moskvich is like a space car with wonderful dynamics or behavior patterns and can move very fast".

  • Brilliant video! Lots of cars never seen here in U.K. Mosvich never really popular here in Britain, and was stopped from being imported after Lada started (around 1973/4) Also please tell what the music that runs through this video is, wonderful!

  • Nice Cars forever!

    Greetings from Hungary!:)

  • Hello Hungary!:) Soviet cars forever!

  • Damn fuck you both lol

  • Great video, thanks

  • Everything for you:)

  • WOW!!! i must see this museum! i love Moskvich. my grandpa had a lot of 407, 403, 412 and 2140.

  • Try to go to the car plant

  • Nu ti i daun blet. Jebat nado takie pidari kak ti. Shto ti panimaesh ob horoshiji mashini.Eta starinki, idiot ti blet, oldtimeri.

  • Tipa togo

  • Do you speak English? This museum WAS in Moscow in a car plant Moskwich!

  • You say that it WAS in Moscow. Isnt it still there?? Could you tell me a concrete adress?

  • Cars are "stolen". This car plant doesn`t works. He stopped producing cars in 2001 and became a bankrupt. The territory was sold to different companies. Only 1 workshop is working, producin Renault Logan and Renault Symbol. It is Avtoframos.

  • Horoshaja muzika

  • Muzika otli4naya!
