When I hitchhiked out to California at the age of 21, OB was one of the places I ended up staying in for a while. People there were super friendly, even though I was basically just a dirty broke kid living out of a backpack and sleeping on the beach. I remember smoking bowls out on the cliffs, and I learned to surf over by the jetty. Now that I've got some money saved up I think I might want to move out there.

I got busted by the cops when I was in High School on this pier. Had a backpack full of beers I got a hobo to buy for me and my buddies. He made me pour them all into the ocean. RIP Beers.
