i like the jeter poster are you interested in trading for it?i got all types of cards, baseball, football, basketball etc, just let me know, really would like to add it to my collection
what is with the 89 packs? I hear a lot of downtalk on em just not sure exactly why? I was a collector when younger back in late 80's early 90's but just unsure what is the deal about the 89 packs
@Necrodius -- I don't talk down about 1989 cards in general. If I remember correctly, I had a pack in this video that contained all damaged cards. That was why I was so down on them. It was part of the point of doing this video. These companies just throw any crap packs together and charge a butt load of money for them, hoping to sell to kids that won't make a big deal about them. The boxes are junk cards most of the time.
@krisbenham Actually ive had pretty good luck with the boxes, i love buying them because i am not from that era, so its cool getting them, Most my cards from the boxes are in good shape too, unless u get one with gum in the pack then the card touching the gum is usually ruined.
@Im2xteme -- Yeah, I guess it would be cool to get cards that you haven't ever had before. It would be like me getting a bunch of late 1970's and early 1980's cards. The gum is really bad in the 1981 wax packs. Man, I lost half of the box for each of the 1981 Fleer and 1981 Donruss wax boxes that I bought one time. I lost all of the Nolan Ryan cards because of gum or wax, or the folding of the cards over the shape of the gum. 25 years is a long time for those cards to sit on top of gum sticks.
@mooshong -- I know. It is sad how many less fortunate kids would still love to have those cards, even though most of them will be damaged from being stored for long periods of time. The packs with gum are the worst because the cards bend around the shape of the gum stick.
WOW if I bought one of those at 100% off I'd ask for my money back
