That's a horrible attitude to have. God wants us to bring others closer to him, but the only way to do that is to bring others closer to his messengers, that's you, and me. You can't call him stupid because he has a different belief system than you. And it's not useless to talk to them. Instead of acting better than them and looking down on them, instead remember that you weren't always a practicing Christian and someone cared enough to take time with you and show you the way of things.

It's true, Christians do fight in wars and murder. War is based on belief, and a believer can be forgiven for his sins. As for murderers, I wonder if God is REALLY in their heart. Jesus was most certainly human, but he was a divine and holy being at the same time, a part of the holy trinity. I sometimes wish things aren't as they are. But rules are rules, I know several good people, close friends, that won't be able to see Heaven, this makes me sad, but it can't be helped.

But if you do have enemies... love them. If they are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty , give them something to drink. If someone takes something of yours, do not demand it back. Yes, Jesus was human, but Jesus was God incarnate. That means that He was fulling God and fully human at the same time. I say "was" because Jesus ascended into Heaven and reigns by the Father's right side.

well catholic was definately one of the earlier churches. The only thing is certain practices of the catholic churches cannot be supported by the bible. No where in the bible does it put Mary at a high status. Praying to her, or to saints cannot be supported. Jesus is the only true high priest and he is our mediator. The cross allowed us to speak to God directly without any other intervention needed. The priests and Popes are just like us in that their human and needed a savior also. God bless
