I watched the last 40 minutes on cable and had to get the movie. I think why this movie touches everyone is because of the unconditional love that David has for his 'mommy". She loved him and couldn't let him be destroyed so she let him go. Her love was unconditional too. What's more is although David is the robot, he seemed more a real son then Henry because Henry's love was conditional.

i totally bawled when Monica has to leave David in the jungle. when he finally understand and looked at Monica said "no... no no no no no why?!" I cried like a baby omfg ... this is the only movie able to made me cried every single time I watch it. the story is awesome as well, it show a lot of thoughts and problem of humanity - not just a CGI masturbation like 2012 kind of brainless movie.

if only stanely kubrick was alive now then he could enjoy his last movie cause steven got the story from stanley and when stanely died steven felt he should carry out the project some say he ruined stans vision i personly think steven did it best and great but only stanley could say if speilberg did it right.
