funny, i never really vibed this song, but the last two days it's been in my head non-stop, out of the blue....haven't listened to cohen for months...that haunting melody, i can't get it out of my head. this version is beautiful...i love the violin...wish he toured with a violinist today, i'm in love with his current band, but wow, that really added something....thanks for posting!

imho the version with that great movie in the bar (fest) is for me the best version. sadly enough I can't find it anymore. There are now so many versions life recorded with phones.....nice but poor quality
