  • Very informative video. I was about to try and remove a BGS card from its case myself and submit to PSA before I saw this vid. I didnt realize they would actually do this for you. Thanks man.

  • @kclark5381: I'm glad you saw this video before trying to take it (them) out. PSA will grade your cards for you even if it's in another company's case. It's called 'cross-grading.' I like that they will remove it for you and re-encapsulate it in their PSA holder for no extra charge other than the grading fee. I was always nervous about breaking out another comp's case for the card. There are ways to do it safely if you just want the card ungraded. Check Youtube for those vids.

  • SGC is actually extremely respected when it comes to vintage. They have their grading down to a science. If you have a SGC 88 and you break it out of it's case and resubmit, 9 times out of 10 it will come back an 88. They don't command quiet the premium the PSA or BGS does on the secondary market, but they are probably the most consistent grading company out there.

  • @heyironhead : True that!!! I have a few SGC's. I bought them pretty cheap...and you're right...the secondary market doesn't command the pretty penny for them that PSA and/or BGS does. =)

Thank you for adding your comment!!!

  • Awesome awesome videos..thank you for the guidance!!

  • @StartingFresh1 :

    Thanks man!

Check back from time to time for more new ones (including a new one today).

  • hey dude can u make me a personal video..of how to send my cards into a grading company...cuz im realy lost in how to send the cards

  • @RoachKing310 : What company are you trying to send them in to?

  • I'm glad you've been making these (I've got them saved as a series so I can go back for reference if a question arises). I see a lot of SGC slabbed baseball stuff being sold through reputable auction houses but not too much on ebay. I guess PSA pretty much rules the vintage department these days. Keep em coming!

  • Thanks R&W. I've seen some SGC stuff also, but always passed.

Depending on the price, I'll probably start to reconsider at times (like the Rodgers auto & the Parilli rc).

Those two are already in the mail. I'll probably make another video when they return showing the final outcome.

I hope that will be a good video! =)
