Just ordered this board and a i7 930. I was gonna get one of the Asus Republic of Gamers boards as I love the look and designs but EVGA have such a great REP when I saw this I more or less ordered it on the spot. I could have saved for another few weeks and got a "Classified" board but this will do me nicely.

the disadvantage about this board is the slot for your beautiful high end sound card if your using dual GTX video cards... but this board is fast.. i recommend you this than asus... i love EVGA products...

yeah, I was thinking of getting the EVGA X58 3X SLI mobo, it supports Crossfire too, and I love EVGA's Lifetime Warranty.

I just want to be able to run both ATI and Nvidia, because sometimes I like Nvidia, and sometimes I like ATI.

I decided against getting a Micro board, because if I ever want to install a couple extra PCI cards, I can't, so I wanna have the option to :-)

I've never done SLI yet, but I think the GTX 380's will be the first card I do SLI with.

I hope they eventually make SLI scale properly, so if you have 2 cards, you get 100% more performance.

its LGA1366 X58 socket, it will only take the i7 cpus or new intel xeons. they are all quad cores, with 4 vertual cores (8cpus effectively)

Jiffy, I love my mac- but I have to say, you can't keep kidding yourself, PCs have more upgradability.

The Macs sold in actual chassis's are a bit more upgradable, but only with mac specific hardware.

All-in-all I use my mac for media (music etc.) but my PC for high processing/gaming.
