Did the money you raised actually go to the charity? Just two more things, collecting cash on the streets requires a licence by the police and local council. Collecting in the aggressive manner that you did is a criminal offence in Britain as collectors are not allowed to rattle the tin let alone approach people for cash. Even if the money went to the charity......well done you broke the law twice. Surprised you didn't get arrested.
