The acting of the combine soldiers could have used some work. The guy just casually walked into the darkened building. I expected to see some more control over the movements; more checking corners, a slow, stealthy movement into the area where the main character was hiding. That sorta stuff.

Thanks everyone for the sudden popularity!

Our budget is $600.

We spent a whole summer finding the costumes for our combine, including a latex mask done by Filth Mirror.

Everything else was done by heavily modifying clothes such as arctic vests and rain jackets.

Although it is a bit past our planned release date, we are still intent on releasing the first part of this series by the holidays.

Disregard any comments about pace. The creation of suspense really worked for me in this video. You really captured the feel of the game (nice costumes btw). If anything, for your next project: go longer. Good luck with future projects.

This has potential. Problem is pacing. it's too slow. Use faster cuts to 'force' the audience to stay and look. A passing youtuber randomly clicking on your video would probably leave after 20 seconds. However me, a die-hard Half life freak i watched it beginning till the end. I did the same mistake as you do in my movie Police Assault 1. However you do it slightly less. So thumbs up!
