The original gears of war made you jump. The second... not so much. Dead Space is on a whole different level. The whole idea is that you are never safe, thus can't relax. Gore is bad but not that terrifying, its all in the build up then boom it happens or it doesn't...which is worse. I like to think I'm decently brave but this game scares me so that I don't actually play it even though I want to :D.

Check out GF 9600 gt review in my favorites. The game is rly entertaining while being hard at times but thats a plus for me. Try playing in the middle of the night with head phones on high volume. Will scare the shit out of you.

Left 4 Dead isnt scary because u have mates (u are not alone) and the zombies are making a lot of loud noises so u can hear them before u can see them. A alien in Deadspace is only noticeable when it is to late :D

I agree, you're right. I mean the only game or games I think parents should worry about at all are games like "Grand Theft Auto" becuase they are most true to life, but games like this are ridiculously stereotyped as creating violent children.

If a kid around 13 or so really can't tell the difference between a scary video game and real life violence, then he needs help.

well the REAL way it happened ( watch the anime series ) they are on a mining run..and come by this ancient artifact piece. ( thats what they think ) but really its a home to some sort of alien species. and the aliens end up getting onto the ship..and some of the aliens can make humans go crazy and kill each other while others just turn you into one of them..its pretty interesting you should look up the series. but in the game your playing as a man but it should be a girl cause a girl survived.
