  • Louis XVI was not corrupt. Weak and vascillating, he inherited a corrupt system which he was ill equipped to reform. He was surrounded by blinkered and self serving courtiers and who bloked his half hearted attemtps at reform. Get your history right!.

  • looks funny to use a british song whereas it's about french revolution... sarcasm or idiocy?

  • Louis was not corrupt, revolution didn't start because of corruption at all. It's been never proven he was fleeing the country, not to mention it has not been proven he was heading to Austria. Bastille was a joke. October march was not only women. Robespierre didn't take over the rule, Terror was not even chiefly govern by Robespierre. France was a Republic long before Napoleon came to the rule or even became famous as an army commander. That's just most important points...

  • i love robespierre

  • The King was not corrupt he and his family were innocent pawns in a political power play the storming of the Bastille was a joke because there were only 4 prisoners held there at the time including De Sade. The government that was created out of this butchery became even more corrupt and evil. Do your research

  • After that, muders and murders, communism, maoism, nazism. Belle revolución, l'art de satanás.

  • Marie Antoinette & Louis had an innocent son and daughter; the daughter went back to Austria never married after being brutally raped by her French oppressors. The innocent son around 9 years old was kept in the bastille and bastardised and brutalised and dissappeared from history. Viva la France but the death of the Royal Prince has always been a blood stain on the French Republic. France got freedom and lost it's innocence at the same time.

  • It seems the American know nothing about the French revolution except guillotine.

  • @Freez57fr Hey, friend, I'm doing my research on the wonderful French people. Nations make mistakes, just as our country's piss poor Gov't is now, with all the friggin' wars and Obama is one huge mistake we'll be paying for forever. His apology and bowing tours were crap. He should be apologizing for his own incompetence. Most Americans may not know about France, becuz our school system sux big time. Our kids aren't taught what we were, real reading, math, science, etc. But liberal junk. Peace

  • @SVWard53 i hope that we will hav enough money to pay for the thing but most people are getting poor these days i always think that the government is dumb because if people are having less money then why not make more money with their machine >.<

  • @Haichiko1 Hey, friend. Printin' more fiat (false value) money is what a huge part of the economic problem is. Eventually the bottom will fall through and crash (Order out of chaos - Thesis - Antithesis - Synthesis - or create the problem, see the reaction, give the solution.) The global rich, have been doing this for decades. It's called the Hegelian Dialectic.Google all this. These are truly evil killers of humanity. Peace.

  • fucking music sucks.....

  • @spareaxe you 're right! the whole video sucks! There are serious and proper ways to get to know the history of France,in one wants to, not watching for some twats's video!

  • It was 4 revolution in France : French Revolution of 1789 , The July Rovolution,The 1848 revolution and The Paris Commune . This revolution ist the first in Histoire de France

  • The French republicans were a lovely lot of people...nothing like massacres and genocides in the Vendee.

  • Never met a King or Queen, or any Royalty for that matter that was not a part of the corruption!

    We need a Revolution today!

  • Cela n'est pas la vérité . Il faut relire d'une manière mieux documentée l'histoire de la révolution française !

  • Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI they were kids when they were queen and king. They didn't know that well how do be a queen and king. I wouldn't killed them at all. And that video deserved an F !

  • Louis XVI was likely to be one of the best king in France History, not corupt at all. I don't know where you comme from but somme research should have been done before making this video cause as a French man i don't give a shit about what you pretend there o_O

You don't know anything about french revolution, or just what is written in you history book, and both of us know (i hope for you) that History books are full of bullshit, not good enough to analyse such a period as french revolution.

  • @bcayet

Tell me one good reform he did during his reign?

  • @gipcambero

    He abolished torture :)

  • @gipcambero

  • louis the XVI wasnt corruppt he was given country to rule that let the astrocrats do anything and the fall of of the country happened because Louis the XIV put the country into a defict twice the amount the country made also it had a horrible infrastruture and taxes everywhere you had to to pay 30 taxes if you wanted to go to the meddieterrean from paris and not forget the language bareies the country was in ruins it was gonna have a reveolutin no matter what

  • Very superficial and inadequately researched. The reasons for the Revolution and the circumstances leading to it were not understood.

  • this video fucking sucks...

  • il y a des extrait du film "marie antoinette"

  • c horible ce qui on fait

  • I will never hail or bow to any savage revolution. People turn into such unrecognizable monsters I cannot understand how they sleep well and then call themselves innocent, fair, good, righteous...

  • LOUIS WASN'T CORRUPT HE JUST LET HIS PEOPLE REVOLT BECAUSE OF TOO MUCH CONFIDENCE ON HIMSELF AND TRY TO FLEE FRAUD...........BASTARD............

  • It´s the YouTube age where no one reads a book or does any real study, Just grab a clip from a movie and post it as your own. No thought, just reaction.

Poor fools. You think that some software makes you a film maker, idiots.

  • Louis XVI wasn't corrupt. Incompetent and distant but not corrupt. A little more research before making this video might have been a good idea. :)

  • @erikatheicyone Neither incompetent or distant but highly conscient of the imposibility to solve ohter's problems i.e. arrogatn parliaments and greedy high nobility; and not forget ramping free-massons, enemies of natural right and human choice....

  • this video is a shame, to much wrongs informations.

Louis XVI sent millions $ to help the us revolution , the country after had no money. Should i say that Louis XVI has never said to his guards to fire? Louis XVI was one of the best King of France. Rvolution is a shame ! it was to give powers to new rich people... VIVE LE ROI VIVE LE ROI !

  • Ahh he showed his ass to TV by this cheater way?? His ass was showed on TV then...

  • At 2:09 this gay put video of his enemy at school.

Or video of himself. It is absolutely wrong here :)

  • gay song, gimme aerosmith anyday

  • @toejam498 Worse than gay. Gay ass coldplay with their stolen song. Plagiarism from Joe Satriani. Listen to the original, not gay at all in my opinion here: watch?v=FclrtPUquhQ

  • Credits? REALLY?

  • I wouldn't say the "corrupt ruling". I would say the inexperienced ruling.

  • we watched this at school today, it's a great movie & song.

  • I hope the current "occupy revolution" realizes it is in no way the path to freedom. They are just ignorant addicted squatters ruining real substantial change. The right is glad to have them portraying the left.

  • kings had feelings??????

  • King Louis wasn't corrupt

  • England and the United States (under Constitution, not Articles of Confederation) were by far the most democratic states in this period.

  • @McLarenMercedes8160 Actually both US Constitution and Declaration of Independence was originally from old English documents like the Manga Carta. Your founding father used them to make ideas for both these documents. It was through British laws that US laws were made and used to set up the new USA.

  • @DavBlc7 so in a nut shell we are kind of still under british rule ???

  • @DavBlc7 Yes, you are absolutely correct.

It is through these kinds of documents (as well as the pressure from parliament/nobles) that forced the English monarchy to become constitutionalized, and thereby England would evade the destructive revolutions/regime changes, as would the U.S.

  • @DavBlc7 (following my previous commet) By that I meant that England would lead a different path than other European countries. In England there was to some degree political participation of the commoner, and basic rights of Englishmen.

For this reason, Americans were pretty reluctant to separate, actually, and the English were far from oppressive. It just seemed that the American Colonists felt, in principle, irreconcilable differences with the crown which also represented their own interests.

  • Louis XVI himself never was corrupt

  • @Coptic78 Still better than the Wiki article.

  • Hey, nice video. What's the name of the song ?

  • @hcybtiw Says song/artist at 3:35
