When heat came out these guys had already robbed many banks so i dont think that the movie was much of an influance on them. I respect the cops for holding thier ground when they could have run.

that thing at 4:12 was showing the last of emil's shot's he fired.. .. after the cops cheated by shootin under the car's and got his leg's he just fired the last of the bullet's n his clip to the ground.. emil was shot 29 times and Larry was shot 11 including the 1 in his head.. LARRY KILLED HIMSELF .. the cops didnt kill him

If they are carrying the standard issue M9 Berreta 9mm pistol, max effective range is only 50 meters.

They said that no officers were killed. It must be BS damge ctrl. The TV coverage had cops down all over the place. And the gunmen were moving in for killshots when the cops were reloading. It is almost impossible for no cops to have been killed in this. 1000's of armor piercing rounds missing all kill shots? They did not want to get away. They were paid to measure the effetiveness of the LAPD police force and therefore all police forces. The USA was entering a period of terrorism and knew it.
