1986 Biloxi Mississippi opened for Judas Priest, intro and rocked thier (and ours too) asses off. Seen them again in Hollywood Florida later in '86 at the Sportatorium. Seen them in '88 at the Monsters of Rock at the Orange Bowl and they jammed in the rain. While it was raining they played, when they stopped the rain stopped. It was like God himself was there turning on the sprinklers with the music. Dokken, Scorps, Metallica, Van Headache, and Billy Squire all on one ticket.

@MasterWitchDoctor i saw dokken on the monsters of rock tour up here south of boston where the Patriots play, Foxboro Stadium, but the line up was Metallica opened, then Dokken, then Scorpions and then Van Halen...the 5th band wasn't allowed by town selectman who said the conert was too long as it was, but the 5th band up here wasn't Squier, it was Kingdom Come....

Haven't forgotten about Motley or Ratt...they just like most 80s metal bands kick ass. You pretty much get the idea...couldn't fit every one in my post before. Dokken, Dio, Queensryche, Maiden and Priest are the REAL DEAL when it comes to good metal! I know first hand how some teens and 20 somethings feel about some of today's music. Just when I thought being a '90s teen was hard..lol! I had even back then to endure Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, Tool, Rancid, Bush. If I may say one more thing, seems like people born before the late '70s got the good music, whereas those born after 1980 have retarded tastes in music...what gives??!
